Ridiculous how long the games people actually want are taking to appear on BC.

Sigh... well that's one down, countless others to go :/

Bayonetta pls
Not ridiculous at all. They need to gain various licences etc first .

And stop sighing - it's free

Waste of money. I'm surprised that Microsoft hasn't made a bid for EA, B-softworks and Capcom.

I wouldn't be surprised if they at least considered a Capcom buy at some point. And EA would be a terrible purchase for MS. Bethesda would be interesting, but it probably wouldn't be worthwhile either.

ok this is frustrating. how can I buy this game on my xbox one if I don't have a US credit card ?

I cant use the credit I have under my account, I have like 20$ or so. I am not from the US I don't have a US credit card. what are my options here ?

I am facing the same problem with the monthly free 360 games on xbox one. I cant get them. it says show price. when I click on that it says Free, when I click on that it asks me for payment option. I assume just to clarify or validate my card without charging me, yet still I cant let it go from there.

this is very annoying really.

You need a credit card or Paypal account linked to your account in order to redeem 360 GWG. Do you have a Paypal you can use?

Xbox is not the entirety of Microsoft though, and Red Dead isn't LinkedIn.

While they as a company could afford an exclusivity deal, I doubt the Xbox division is going to be dropping that kind of money for one deal, even if it could help the brand. In order to cover the lost sales from PS4, MS would have to shell out numbers far exceeding the budget of even their biggest 1st party games. Like, multiplicative numbers. And of course, this assumes that Take-Two/Rockstar would take the deal, even if the number was high enough. It's not like they're strapped for cash, and they may view such a deal as damaging in the long run due to hurting their reputation with PlayStation fans.

is a timed exclusive of a video game worth billions of dollars? sure microsoft has the war chest to make it happen but they would get no ROI

may as well just set a billion dollars on fire

Waste of money. I'm surprised that Microsoft hasn't made a bid for EA, B-softworks and Capcom.

But you agree that would be a hell of a bump on console sales, even with timed exclusivity.

Did the exclusivity deal with Capcom with SFV hurt its reputation with Xbox Fans??? It didn't. So it's the case with Rockstar. Nobody gets hurt if this deal happen...

To be honest, considering Bully ant Warriors only on PS4 it's clear that Rockstar is open to deals...

there's no way whatever bump in console sales the xbox would see would even come close to breaking even let alone generate a return on how much money an exclusive deal for RDR would cost

As I said before, if Bully and Warriors are on PS4, it's clear that Rockstar is open to deals.

They always are. Remember timed-exclusives DLCs on GTA4?

I own the GotY edition.

Can I just put the disc in? Or does BC only work for download games?

edit: never mind, googled it and yes discs work :)

Is the game of the year edition with everything released for the game? My memory could be off but I thought I remembered something coming out after that was released? Just want to make sure it has everything before I go buy it

True.

Lol what? Capcom is going have a big problem when it comes to selling SF6 on Xbox. People are going to be petty about it. They sacrificed XB for the PC due to a deal and cross-play and what happened? The PC version bombed so bad that it was Ff type 0 XB vs PS4 sales.

Yeah, agreed. I can't see either side bringing in the sales needed for such a deal.

Well the parts of GTA is don't like are the controls, by the numbers gameplay, and uninteresting open world. Cities are boring as fuck as open worlds for me.

RDR might be better if its out in the open (which it should since its a western), and if it has a good story.

The controls are still pretty rough in RDR. It controls closer to GTAIV than it does GTAV, with Marston running around with a lot of imprecise weight to him. It's not as bad as Niko but not as tight or responsive as GTAV, which really isn't tight or responsive.

Gun play is similar to any Rockstar game, but because it's old timey pistols, rifles, and shotguns for the most part, they're more rewarding, and the clever introduction of a bullet time + placed shots system makes you feel like you really are a legendary gunman of the west.

If you don't like Rockstar's environments, then it's a bit of a tough sell. RDR's most memorable aspect is the game world... It's huge, beautiful, varied, and masterfully crafted.

BC has been announced 1 year ago, and has only been publicly available for 8 months. That's not a long time at all, everything considered.

No they won't, anyone that will want to play SF6 on xbox will if it's released on the next xbox system.

I never said people aren't going to buy it, I just said that some will be petty about it. Who can blame them? I regret the SF5 over now than the one we may have got in 2018 or later.

Also Oni told some people who own XBOX only (jokingly, that's what some people have said) to go buy a PS4, lol.

Anyways, like KI said : It's better than nothing.

Acty and Capcom seem fine with doing that to XB fans, lol.

I can't see infinite warfare getting descents numbers from the Xbox side this year.

Rockstar has historically also been more "fan friendly", while Activision and Capcom have had poorer reputations of business first, fans second attitudes. Street Fighter is also a fraction the size of Red Dead, and in the case of CoD and Activision, that's a deal favoring the console with the significantly higher install base. A Microsoft Red Dead deal would alienate what is by far Rockstar's largest market.

But you agree that would be a hell of a bump on console sales, even with timed exclusivity.

Yes, of course it would bump sales. But would it be to the point that it's worth justifying the costs? In order to cover the lost sales from true exclusivity MS would have to pony up somewhere around $300m (this is a conservative based off of Redemptions sales on PS3). That money could fund the entire development costs of 3-5 AAA first party games. It's just not worth that much money. They could do a timed exclusive, and it's not impossible that would happen, but I'm unconvinced it would. It's one thing to net Rise of the Tomb Raider (which in the end didn't seem to be all that beneficial for MS), it's another to net a game that sells tens of millions.

As for Capcom and SFV, honestly? Probably a little? But as I already said, Street Fighter is a much, much smaller game, and Capcom is no stranger to high profile exclusives. Furthermore, hasn't SFV's numbers been less than expected? That's not exactly encouraging for a deal involving a far more expensive game.
