Probably testing. An open world, multiplayer-capable game probably takes a lot longer than most of the BC titles available to date.

I have the GOTY/Zombie Nightmare physical edition, which I've yet to try. So excited to get back into this amazing game.
And they'll all carry over to Scorpio as well. I've been wanting console libraries to transcend generations for years, especially as we move towards the digital future, and it feels every bit as good as I thought it would.

Yeah it's too bad that Sony hasn't lowered the price on PlayStation Now or offered the option to outright buy stuff; yeah it's streaming but I'd still love to be able to access VF5 without paying a subscription...then again framiness would be nill if Sega would just make it BC on Xbox.
Guys there is no exclusive deal on either side of Xbox BC or PlayStation 2 Classics, Rockstar just usually take their sweet time to clear things and usually do it in phases instead, which means this time they've managed to clear all versions of The Warriors on PlayStation and Red Dead Redemption has finally cleared on Xbox at the same time. There's still another batch of Rockstar Games coming to PS2 Classics in the next few months.

You should probably stop talking, because you don't know what you're talking about.
1) this isn't exclusive, this is backwards compatibility. It is a feature that Microsoft has and a feature that Sony does not. That is why it exists. Because the Xbox One has a good feature and the PS4 does not feature this same good feature, which sucks for the PS4.
2) this game was a technical nightmare and that is why it never got a PC port when every other Rockstar games ever have a PC port. That is also likely why we will not see a port of the PS3 version of this game any time soon. Technical. Fucking. Nightmare.
3) Sony has PS2 games on PS4 because those are PS2 games. Red Dead Redemption is a PS3 game. You are more likely to get Red Dead Revolver on PS4 than Red Dead Redemption. Once again, this is not a 'deal' situation. PS2 classics would not exist on the Xbox One not because of an exclusivity arrangement, but because IT'S A DIFFERENT THING ENTIRELY.
Xbox One has backwards compatibility. PS4 does not. PS4 has PS2 games because they're relatively easy to rework. PS4 is unlikely to get PS3 games because PS4 does not have backwards compatibility.
There are no 'deals' going on here. It is highly likely that the only way PS is going to get RDR on the PS4 is if there is a complete remaster. This is not necessary to get it on the Xbox One. The Xbox One doesn't need a remaster, the PS4 does. Simple as that.
Anyways, unless I'm mistaken, port begging is a bannable offense, so I'm not sure why this thread isn't a graveyard right now.

If you select "manage game," on the X1 menu, you should be able to see all DLC for the game that you own and tell it to download. If you own it on disc, I do not believe it will work for you, but I could be mistaken. You need the disc in the drive as a check that you own the game, so I would assume, and I could be wrong, that the game would essentially require both Undead Nightmare and Red Dead discs in the drive simultaneously, which is impossible, unless Undead Nightmare is considered a standalone. But, like I said, could be wrong. Only real way to find out is to do it, I'd imagine.

Please, stop treating PS3 emulation on PS4 as a mundane thing to do. It is not. PS3's hardware is way too much exotic to this be accomplished, specially considering the stories about the "code held by gaffer tape" regarding RDR.

Guys, the next on the list needs to be NCAA 14.
We will likely never get another college football game. The servers for 14 are still active, and there is still a decent community for it. People are updating rosters themselves even though they arent official.

I have the disc but I just bought it digitally for 7 bucks. Seems like a fair price to save a trip out to the garage to dig through boxes and probably get bit by a black widow.

Anyone play this when it leaked a few months ago? Were impressions of it good from a technical standpoint? Some BC stuff I've tried has been real hit and miss, but I also haven't really tried it for larger games since it left the preview program.
