No Man's Sky Spoiler Thread

I'm pretty sure this guy just has to go to his inventory recipes to build the last item he needs.
He needs suspension liquid, which you can buy on the station. He was looking at it, he just... Didn't grab it

Edit: first planet I've seen that isn't just passively killing you. 30c, no radiation

I NEED PICS!

It was a one-line descriptor next to a point on the star map. Looked like a regular star but when he hovered over it said "black hole." He didn't go there though - don't think he had enough fuel because it was quite far away from where he was.

It also said "warping signal jammed" or some such - means it's unreachable through his current means

It looked like you could set waypoints, so if you find one on the map, you should be able to plan a route to follow to get to it. Stuff like that is what I want to see in this, so I'll be well off the beaten track looking for them.

Black Holes are just gonna RNG you to some random planet in the same Galaxy, right?

I assume they'd just spaghettify you and suck you in to become one with them.

I think this dude is intentionally avoiding doing the main quest.

Which is a kindness since they know they're showing off the game a week early. Also, looking at the trophy set, they all revolve around milestones accrued through exploration, combat, etc... and nothing tied to a particular narrative or main questline, which I think is smart to have in a game that encourages you to make your journey your own.

I think it's a combination. Certainly many players were expecting too much, and honestly I should probably include myself in that category.

However, some things don't quite match what Sean has said in the past. He claimed only 10% of planets would have life, but that is obviously much higher(perhaps even every planet has it). Granted, some might like having life on each planet, but I kind of wish it was more rare.

He also claimed planets would become much more strange as players get to the center. Perhaps this will be true for some, but it doesn't appear to be the case for the first player.

The many bugs and glitches can hopefully be fixed, so that isn't as big a deal.

I'm still planning to get the game though and look forward to playing it. Granted, I admit I'm going to get sick of seeing life on pretty much every planet.

Going on what I heard, this is my feeling on it. I'm also a little disappointed that it sounds like it won't be so hard to survive (and Sean said he had wanted to make a hard game). I am disappointed life is on every planet (I liked the idea it would be a rare find.. some things should be rare to find).

But it sounds mostly like what he promised other than easier than what he promised and more life when he promised it would be rare (and perhaps life not getting so strange towards the center which honestly that part doesn't bug me that much).

I really hope they tweak it in the patch to not make it so easy.

I think i'm sold on this game. I'm impressed

This current stream is looking TIGHT, seriously.

My only complaints are (a) "journey milestone reached" is very giant and obtrusive, and (b) the space stations and structures are HIGHLY formulaic / identical. That may not be the case in all systems though, so I'm not particularly put off by it. Oh and also (c) it looks HARD to die. I wish the worlds were a bit more harsh and deadly.

I haven't been watching much of the stream. Have the animals at all been anything other than moping around? Do they ever run from you? Attack you? Interact with each other?

lol, dude usually spends like 40 minutes on each planet. Guess after that capping that mushroom he had to get the fuck away from the scene of the crime.

I've seen them running from and attacking the player. One in a stream yesterday actively helped the player out after they fed it by digging up items for them. I've not seen much interaction between animals, but the planets i've seen have all been fairly sparse wastelands.

A few minutes ago one was stalking kenji, it didn't attack but it wanted to start shit, he ran.

Another one hit him on that radioactive Moon, and did like 20% damage with one hit.

One stream had adult creatures with their young
