If you got digitally, call CS and they will refund the difference to you (think original purchase has to be made within a week of it going on sale). This happened to me earlier this year and they took care of me.
Nah, it was physical. I'm not too bent out of shape, I'm loving the game so I feel like I'm okay that I paid a little more, I'm just amazed that I've timed it this way twice in a row.

Purchased Dragon's Dogma, even though I have 128 hours in the Steam release. I wanted to try my hand at a fresh BBI run and it sure is tough.

Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty was somehow free on Vita. I think from PS+?

You kids need to get DOSEE so Larian will consider a PS4/XB1 version for 2 after the PC version releases this year.

DO MY BIDDING AND BUY A GOOD GAME THAT DESERVES IT.....so I can get dat sequel
This is the only one I am vaguely interested in... but I just bought NMS and Overwatch. My gaming budget is blown for 2016.

How's Dragon Age:I? I'm likely never going to play any of the other games but I always figured I'd jump in at a low price. Worth the time and money?

No. The story and characters are good -- like DA generally. But the combat is a huge step back from the first -- it feels like hold x to kill, and spending time making formations/defensive positions/using hills/etc is a waste because ai moves characters as soon as combat starts even if you said not to.

worse, if you have any level of gaming ocd youll be driven mad. it has that 'hit r3' to pulse for nearby items... but the issue is, there are millions of herbs and shit -everywhere-. you can't walk 5 feet towards your damn waypoint without pulsing a new thing to go out of the way for. yeah! another dried flower. it will drive most mad.

How is Frozen Synapse Prime? I love turn based, XCOM type games.

it's excellent. you set up 'turns' by creating multiple waypoints [down to exact unit facing, etc] and then 'run' the the turn. hard to explain, watch some footage. similar to doorkickers and breach & clear. really good overall, my only complaint is that it feels a bit 'dry' imo compared to the other two i mentioned.

Is Conception II PSTV compatible?

Save yer money. CII is... just bland and boring. It's got all these cool systems in place, so if you play the demo you'll think you're in for something awesome -- positional attacks, combos, great character creation... but in practice, it's so easy you just attack/attack/attack... x, x, x, x,.... you don't need to cast any of your spells, you don't need to position anything [except maybe for a couple bosses]... it's just way, way, way too easy and it means all the systems are meaningless.

Anyone owns AEGIS OF EARTH: PROTONOVUS ASSAULT? Is it worth 15 bucks?

I've seen a few reviews saying it's a good tower defense game.

I like the genre but 15 bucks is kinda expensive for a TD game...

I paid full price and plat'd it. I really enjoyed it. you build circular cities on 'spinning' platforms, enemies attack from all sides, and you spin the various gears in your city to create attacks. it's not perfect - some weapons are so much better than others you won't ever use a couple -- but overall it was fun. i didn't get bored with the gameplay, but you will be doing it a lot.

If I thought Transistor was ass, would I enjoy Bastion?

My friend have brought The witcher 3 on his ps4 that I shared with him. I played the witcher 1 but because of my ass-pc, can't play the witcher 2... I should wait, right?

Yeah, Transistor > Bastion for me as well. I enjoyed both but Transistor just did everything better for me. Combat, story, style, music (!!!), etc....

Transistor is one of my favorites from this gen.

MEGADIMENSION NEPTUNIA VII on sale for $15 again, hmm makes me wonder how well this game did. Oh well I already got it last time it was $15. Fun pick up for anyone into the series!

GEOMETRY WARS 3 is the most tempting thing I see. Maybe Divinity.

Wait. FUCK dat! The Final Fantasy games are on sale! Getting 5 and 6! Maybe even tactics!

Tactics is amazing, one of my fav FF's.

Do it Sabre! <3

Dumb question: Anyone get the Dragon Age goty, can you tell me if the dashboard icon actually shows that ugly gold banner that it has in the store? This is of utmost importance. Utmost.

No, it doesn't. It's the base game with all the DLCs which you can download and install separately.

Teslagrad ain't great. Physics puzzles but the physics don't work consistently making shit very hard and awkward to pass. Most of the time you just fuck about until your solution happens to fall into place.

How are the Odd World games?

Timeless. The first 2 abe games are puzzle platformers.
Munch is a 3D Adventure puzzle game
Stranger's Wrath is an action game with FPS shooting elements.

They're all good in their own way IMO and I've enjoyed them all (well except Exoddus which is more of an expansion to Oddyssey[/spoiler]
FYI that New n' Tasty is a remake of Abe Oddyssey, and Exoddus' remake would be releasing by next year.
