PS4 version also runs at 60fps.

The PS4 version running at 60fps is the real megaton. I was under the impression that Atlus was just gonna bump up the resolution & call it a day.

Then again, I was gonna get the PS4 version either way.

Crime against nature that we have to wait till February for this.
The English translation & dubbing takes time, I'd assume. It was either that or pull a BlazBlue: Central Fiction & not dub it at all just to get the game out sooner in the West.

Knowing that the Persona English dubs are usually on-point, I don't mind the wait.

The art style makes this game look great on the PS3 as well.

But screenshots don't show 60fps smoothness. Can't wait.

This game's art style is going to look so damned good on my TV.

Yup.

Crowd shot looks straight out of Tokyo Mirage Sessions.

I'm so glad I have the special edition of this preordered.

Looks pretty identical other than resolution.

Glad it's getting 60 FPS on PS4 though.

I wonder if this will support PS4 Pro when it releases here. Did that leaked rule that games released after September had to support Neo/Pro features end up being true?

Silky smooth 60 fps is a nice incentive for the PS4 version, but it looks great on both systems. This is why investing in a stylized art direction is always a good idea.

Nobody should expect Persona 5 to really be pushing the PS4 to the limit. After all it did probably spend most of its development as a PS3 game. When it was announced for PS4 I expected resolution and framerate to be the only significant differences.

Looks pretty good for PS3 honestly. Not impressed with PS4, but eh. Wasn't gonna buy this for the graphics anyway.
