Yep, no changes here, everything that worked before still does now.
Don't know but they're literally just a second row of icons underneath the main row.
The order of the game icons is determined by you and they do not move, unlike the "most recent" order of the main row (which the folders themselves adhere to as well).

Works unchanged from before. If you have issues, turn it off/on and also replug the HDMI cable so it can re-do a handshake.

Even if you have privacy setting turned off your friends might not have. In that case you still wouldn't see it.

I just can't get it to consistently work anymore. I dunno if it's because it's plugged into a splitter but it only works sporadically and it's driving me mad.
I've turned off and on HDMI-CEC on the console and the TV several times, removed and replugged the HDMI and even tried a new cable. It just won't consistently work.
Meanwhile my girlfriend's PS4, plugged into the same splitter on the old firmware works every time.

If someone is using Netflix on their PS3 you can see that as their status on PS4 but not when they're using it on PS4, it's ridiculous.

I'm having a difficult time coming up with folder names. Genres are way too blurry to split games up and there aren't enough of one series to make that it's own folder either.

This was how I managed my backlog on PS3 and I can't wait to get back to it. It means that once you turn on the console you're immediately drawn to what you should be playing - with unbeaten PS+ stuff taking priority because your sub could lapse and you'd lose those games.

I would definitely do this if it was possible to put stuff in folders that you'd purchased but not downloaded, but as it is I'd just delete all the beaten stuff so it wouldn't even be there, and at that point there's not really enough separating the games I've got. (PS+ Indie would be basically all my games, etc).
I have a nightmare scenario for you. Imagine someone blindfolds you and starts a game you never heard of anything before, then lets you play it. It looks good, but you are not sure, is it Indie? Or did he just not let me see those big company logos?

Man you guys must own a lot of digital games or don't delete the ones you don't play?
I just have one folder for Playstation apps (playroom, spotify, medial player, Live, etc.) and the rest I just leave on the home screen as tiles. if its an old ass game or something that's dropped off the home screen i just use the library

I have "Sony shit" and a couple of genre folders (like "JRPGs" for example, since those things are quite specific and 60 hours long) but yeah, other than that everything is just on the home screen.
Between those few folders and the home screen it takes a while for anything I'm playing to actually drop off it.

Probably, if I had to guess. Rolling out an intermidiate update just to enable HDR on all consoles is a bit silly, and I guess that 4.0 will be the "flagship" update for the Slim at launch.

I went with single player / multiplayer folders
For games that have multiplayer but I bought for single player I put them in single.

Same. Thought it might be a one off to being with, but getting quite a few from different communities daily.
As someone who wrote an app that reads the DS4 over USB I can tell you a regular DS4 doesn't transmit all it's functions over USB, some only work over wireless. While I haven't got my hands on the new DS4 to confirm anything, the fact they've released a USB adaptor for PC plus Cerny's comments about the new one suggests to me they may now transfer all the features over USB.
