I've been looking because the claim sounds outrageous. Apparently at some point like 6 months ago it was true. It looks like it is currently not true. We will see if there are some new polls I missed when we get a reply.
This doesn't compare his support to other Republican nominees.

I think this particular fact convinced me that this wasn't just some weird bullshit. He's following a guy with beliefs like:
Palmer is a garbage person.
I get it, that we would be enabling them.
But, for example, recently I learned that the Neverhood/Earthworm Jim creator is an homophobe. And today I also learned that the Dilbert creator is also pro-right. As much as I hate their political ideas, I like/appreciate their work. Should I just stop liking their work? These kind of pseudo witch-hunts will lead to pseudo censorship.
Imagine a boycott is successful, and you send him to misery...he''s just gonna resent society even more. We're giving him a taste of his own medicine (discrimination).
Maybe I'm too idealist or naive, but I don't think we're giving him any real message like that. Those kind of people feed on your anger.
IMO, it would be better if after he went through all that effort to fund some shit, it just...failed (if it succeeds we have a much larger problem then).

Milo vouched for them when people on the subreddit questioned the legitimacy of the organization and its wealthy benefactor.
I would be very, very suspicious of a 20 point swing under any circumstance.

I have heard some of 4chan's sub forums are okay but their biggest forums are all awful. /b/ and /v/ are full of people who harass others online for a laugh, and /v/ was the origin site of Gamergate. GG as an organization has migrated to 8chan (mention of GG was banned on 4chan because it was giving the site bad press), but tons of GGers still post on 4ch. And /pol/ is a haven for trump supporters and the alt-right.

Don't play dumb, dude. This has nothing to do with him just supporting Trump. It has everything to do with the racist shit that has come out of his pro-trump organization/subreddit that he apparently funds, his own "anonymous" posts to said subreddit, and his own girlfriend's twitter. If you think it's dumb to not support an alt-right sexist, racist... that's great. However, I don't and won't.
But yeah, free speech blah blah blah. Just because free speech exists doesn't mean there are no consequences to your actions.
Personally, I never visit 4chan. But for 8chan, that's a place you never want to go at all. It's one of GamerGate's homes, and as I've brought up somewhere in this thread before, they have also hosted child pornography before. They were even delisted from Google because of it. Just a lot of low-lifers there.

Lol, LA Times polls are the outlier, not the average. Most recent national polls have him at around 7% support.

That guy he's making fun of for being fat (who is probably a decent human being, unlike Milo) is making an effort to improve his life by exercising and attempting to lose his excess weight, and this Twitter prick is still making fun of him AS HE'S TRYING TO FIX THE PROBLEM HE'S BEING CRITICIZED FOR HAVING. When a seriously overweight person makes a genuine effort to become healthier, they should be applauded for taking that initiative and encouraged to stick with it long-term.
I know I'm preaching to the choir here but I just really wanted to type that all out.

She also married a man who helped dismantle programs minorities depend on and helped incarcerate too many people of color. This is a tricky subject because discussing Clinton's problems draws a lot of defenders who are only willing to discuss her shortcomings after she wins. You are likely trying to paint her as the same as Trump and by agreeing with you I am defending a Trump defender. Which is gross. Clinton 2016.

You're right, seeing it that way it does make more sense to not support him. I could still argue that it's his personal money, that yes, he wins from the company, but through legit means. But in this case, he is basically Occulus.
