I'll be in Japan at the time, its going to be great!

Please be Region Free.

It's basically the same comment Bethesda made.

Its exactly the same comment.

This is new I believe:

While we’re not confirming any specific titles this time, we’re pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo, and support of the Nintendo Switch. We look forward to revealing specific games and details at a later date.

This goes beyond the "Wait and see" we have heard from other companies.

I guess NBA 2K17 and Xcom 2? Maybe Mafia III.

RDR 2 would kill me, I don't believe it's coming to the Switch

I would say at first it will be NBA 2k, and Borderlands Handsome Jack. Borderlands is already up and running on Nvidia Shield, so that seems like a no brainer.

I was thinking to skip MH XX and wait for the new chapter, but if it will be a Switch launch game, will be a dayone buy for sure.

I thought the HD version of MH3U for WiiU was nice enough. If it is anything like that to get us by till to a true HD numbered release I will take it.

I doubt, but really hope, they release it in the US at launch. Since it is so close to US release of MH Generations they could just release a Switch only version in states.

Except MHX is one of the most gorgeous 3DS games ever made. It would look great in higher resolution.

Your desire for MH HD is clouding your vision.

You guys think it would be possible for Nintendo to foot the bill for a Switch port of Monster Hunter?

It would give them quite the edge in Japan.

I'm sure people would have preferred hearing about the Switch reveal 5 months ahead of time compared to this.

We would have got the exact release date during the January presentation.

Whereas we were kept in the dark for many months about a Switch reveal in which we got an announcement of a reveal trailer two days in advance.

Edit: Now I'm somewhat expecting the price and bundles to be leaked too. lol

I feel like we're gonna get the same deal as MH3U on Wii U. A port of MHXX on Switch with better textures, shadows, lighting, effects, 60 FPS, faster load times, superior controls, and upscaled visuals. But not like a full on from the ground up port. I was totally OK with MH3U's for Wii U visuals, I will be for this.

I am ok with that.

Wouldn't expect more from Capcom honestly

Yes, and with previous collaborations considered, they'll help develop it too. Or have one of their First-party development teams help.

HYPE! If theres Zelda AND Monster Hunter day one, I'll definitely be there!!

That would also be a great way to get a head start in the Japanese market
