first i had to deal with ZTD watch issues and now this with Rez. This is just too cruel. Def not gonna buy from Iam8bit anymore. Still waiting for the NMS Explorer Edition which I don't even care about anymore. Sigh

Fucking hell iam8bit. This is the first and last time I order anything from them. Hey, the game is delayed... again, that's a bummer. But the digital soundtrack? What is this? You couldn't secure the rights so you're instead giving everyone... nothing.

Sounds like they couldn't get any of the original songs. So the digital soundtrack will not include area 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. But here you go, here's area X, hope you dig this. Thanks iam8bit!

I'm still facing major resistance getting them to cancel my order. If they won't work with me, I'm going to have my credit card company chargeback the order for false advertising

Limited run games is known for getting physical copies day and date with digital releases?

yeah my code doesn't work either. i still think the LP set looks so nice.. I'mforcing myself not to buy it.

also remember that no matter how you feel about delays or prices or how a release is handled, please don't take it out on customer service people. they're not in charge.

I'm guessing that the soundtrack is basically just Gamers Guide To plus the Area X track and a few remixes, and it will not feature the game version of "Fear" which is what many have been waiting years for. I'll take the free tracks but I'm glad I didn't shell out $70 for the vinyl.

I'm pretty bummed about the delay, then I saw the email and litteraly thought "hey better than nothing."

Then the code didn't work and it was indeed nothing.

The codes not working might be on Sony's end. Sometimes they take a while to activate on their side. Anyway I'm sure they'll fix this at some point, at least

Yeah, I've had codes that were delayed in activation because of a hang up with how sony handles the process.

What's this about a code? Did 8bit send a PSN code for the digital version of the game as well? I don't see it.

No, it's just a code for the Theme/Avatar bundle which doesn't seem to be activated yet.

Just downloaded the Area X track bundle. It doesn't have all of the Area X tracks, only the ones with a female vocal. The one from the beginning of Area X is not here.

The track marked as an unused bonus track is actually in the game.

Seriously... I don't usually get upset when some online purchase goes poorly, but I feel like this company is straight up lying to me at this point.

Well.....let's see how this turns out......

Meanwhile they at least started to offer cheaper shipping options, down to 6,50$. UK store at least.

also... im actually pretty pissed at iam8bit... i was hoping this would be an exception... i was wrong... 1st and last time i order from them i guess... (i just couldnt pass on physical Rez though...)

Back when I ordered on the UK site they only offered shipping for $16. Now when you make a new order there's options starting at $6.58 (standard Royal Mail, which is more than fine for a game). That's kinda scummy.

You think they'll refund the difference? Should I even bother?

Oh and the subject lines all contain different order numbers.

Man, iameightbit is a damn mess. I learned of their shenanigans from the Gaming Vinyl thread and took the caveat emptor threats seriously.

Shame as I wanted a physical version of this game, but I can't support iameightbit after all their nonsense.

This is the only download we will get. They took preorders before determining whether or not they had the right to sell digital versions of any of the tracks on the vinyl, and ultimately they could not get the rights, so these three tracks are all we get.

Say what? I could've sworn they advertised a digital download of the entire vinyl. That's shit if people ordered it because of that.

God, I'm one and done with these guys. I wanted the game on launch day, and if I knew it would have been delqyed for over a month, I would have just downloaded the damn thing. Very disappointed and considering asking for a refund.

We did it with Lost Sea and Breach & Clear: Deadline. This is iam8bit's first PlayStation release - with them not knowing the process front to back like we do, there was no way they could hit launch day.
