Did pass on Last Guardian, Dead Rising 4, and ?? in anticipation of this promo, will have to think about something to buy as a gift to round it out, assuming TLG/DR4 review decently.
Last year I believe a few pre order games were able to sneak in online the first day or two, although not all of them.

Honestly, FFXV is the only thing I definitely want before the end of the year, so I'm not sure I can take advantage of the deal otherwise.

Nope, not spread. If you return one, it will effectively "unbundle" the promotion.
BBY's a little sharper then Target when running promotions like this.
