It's crazy how much well used music hooks me. The first trailer got me so fucking pumped, and this one was awesome as well. I can't wait.

I wish more creators would realize that using well known, icon music to help hit certain emotions works so well.

You know, instead of the usual 'just throw some random popular song over the trailer and maybe try to do some beat work'

The problem is that the creators (directors maybe producers as well) are rarely involved in the making of trailers unless you are big name director, whereas the marketing department usually do the trailers and in some cases footage will be shown that don't make it in the movie (recent example suicide squad).

But creators do have control over what's in the movie, and a lot seem to see music as an after thought. Got, for example, was the first MCU movie with a memorable soudtrack.

He's my favorite in the MCU. Dude is hilarious-and I never knew of him before GOTG. I feel like he nailed all the scenes in the first movie-he's funny and "straight" when he needs to be, and when he tells Peter "I will fight beside you. And see my family again."...I get a lump in my throat. Drax is a true bro.
