It's a shallow pool, to be sure, but it's wide enough for me to always get sucked back into with new character builds or styles.
And Ambrose has been one of the most dependable guys on the roster since the Shield split. Was so happy earlier this year when he went over Roman and Seth.
I watched The Rock for the first time last night. The beginning felt a little rushed through, but otherwise it was a fun little action movie. Connery and Cage were great. Definitely better than Commando, which I watched for the first time due to Film and 40's a few months ago.

Best part in The Witness is actually

I really can't remember specifics but there was a point where I got to a new area and just had no idea what the first puzzle was trying to teach, and then trying moving onto another area with a similar result. I thought I'd look up the solution to try and get an idea of the "trick" but was ultimately just left unsatisfied with that of course.
Even earlier on though when I was doing ok on the very early first areas puzzles I wasn't having a great time though. Just wasn't a game for me I suppose.

The last Game Tapes was in August. The last Ranking of Fighters was in July. The last Old Games Show was in June.
Kinda wish Austin had finished that article he was working on for weeks about how he hates (his word, not mine) The Witness' message. Sounded like he was gonna go in hard. Didn't he say he had written down several thousand words on it? Could've made for an interesting GOTY discussion.

Was considering making a thread bit ehhhh I'm lazy so I'll just ask here. Now that we have both the last guardian and final fantasy xv, what's left? Or what's the next game that actually exists but will take 10 years to come out? Obvious answers would be kingdom Hearts 3 and Shenmue 3 I suppose. Any other predictions?

also i've heard dan say a lot of real crazy things over the course of his giant bomb career but that insane arbitrary line where he won't accept lasers in metal gear games because it's too unrealistic is really up there

This may be the worst post I've ever read in a Giant Bomb thread. Commando is the pinnacle of filmmaking.

So Austin likens The Witness to a STEM student dismissing other fields as a purity to truth, like that one XKCD comic. I get that, and agree with it.
This is like a Teller vs Oppenheimer sorta thing.
With this and the chicken thing I'm starting to think Dan doesn't know what birds are.
