I liked it too, even if the combat was basic as hell it was fun to play and looked great.
Haven't played any of the DLC but have been strangely itching to get back into it.

I had to look but apparently I put about 70 hours into the Witness. Some of that is my kids who loved it. But, I never even did anything with the mountain. Maybe I need to revisit.

Also, I tried Let it Die and uninstalled it in 30 minutes. The gameplay is OK but I can't stand the aesthetic, so I figured I'd escape before the free-to-play elements started rearing their head. Uncle Death is like a zaaaaaaaany tuber.
During the QL I had the thought, "this is Western Dynasty Warriors" before realising the absurdity of it all.

I can 100% see where he is coming from though. Kojima could've made whatever he wanted. Instead of doing something fresh he did Kojima and I'm okay with that but let's not fool ourselves. Nothing in that trailer suggest Kojima is going for something new or fresh, at least in terms of promoting his stuff.

I appreciate what they're trying to do but austin usually ends up dominating the conversation or it just ends up being austin/patrick saying something and everyone else being 'yeah i agree with this slightly different nuance'
i'm still listening but i might stop soon. i'm not getting as much out of it as i'd like

Yeah a bit. There's a lot of cutscenes and interruptions throughout the game, but you're still basically in tutorial mode till at least after the first trial, but more like when you get to the second island.

I love Patrick and Danielle but I got bored of the podcast too for osme reason.
It's fine but it's really is missing the goofball that Vinny or Bakalar would pull off. Patrick and Austin are a bit similar too.
It's the monologue podcast.
Waypoint people need people who aren't Waypoint people to make Waypoint good. That's when the 72hr stream was at its best.
