Bomber jackets: yay or nay?

No, because I don't trust myself enough to NOT make and then sew Ace Combat squadron/air force patches.

It is a very real risk.

Dozens of people per year are affected by Ace Combat withdrawals. If you, or someone you know, are suffering from ACW, contact your local Bandai-Namco affiliate.

Yay for me. I own the one similar to one you posted, but not that puffy. I also own this, and prefer this style of bomber jacket:

Great jacket.

EDIT: Brand is Danier. The hoodie can be removed. Also comes in one with pockets. www.danier.com

Oh god, that is an awful looking jacket.

So many people hating on the OP pic. i used to buy a ton of bomber jackets.. but once I bought an Alpha industries version, I can't see myself going with any other brand. If it's too baggy, they also make a slimmer version.

It's not hate for the jacket itself, it's because of the association with skinheads.

I work for a company that tracks sales of consumer goods, including apparel. Over the past year, there has been an increase in sales of this jacket style across America, especially in the midwest.

I wonder why.

Seems like the common thought here is that good looking jackets are in, and bad looking jackets are out.

Bombers can be in for sure. The one in the OP? Not so much.

On the other hand, I think all puffy jackets look terrible because they never look like they actually fit.
