Anyone have experience with this game? I was really impressed after watching some of the videos. Looks like a good time but I'm still on the fence for the price though I suppose it did just come out so..

The demo is out and really solidifies the purchase. It plays really great, lots of fun and lots of replayability.

For now I got

- Abzu
- Dust an elysian tale
- Castlevania los2

Probably gonna pickup metro redux
You chose well. While the furry aesthetic was unappealing to me at first, I ended up loving the game and caring for the characters. Combat is very fun too. Hope you enjoy it!

Ori is great, albeit a bit on the difficult side. I can recommend that one.

Oh wow I tried to play Bloodborne online and it told me to pay for it but I already own the game and I am online whew console gaming is weird af
I love paying for online services, it feels like I'm part of an exclusive club. Filthy PC gamers play for free because they pirate everything anyway!
Did the new Deus Ex bomb hard enough where it is not getting DLC?
It's already got DLC (System Rift iirc)

I don't understand why Ubisoft can't discount AC titles more. I want to take Unity from years, and meanwhile Syndacate released (and I want take that too), but they simply cost too much in my opinion. I would take Unity with a 75% off, but they should be discounted more in my opinion, or at least make a "AC Pack" with all games with a 90% off or something like that.

I'm still waiting for them to do a proper Uplay AssCreed humblebundle. Same with with Activision and COD. It will probably never happen tho.

Difficult is fine with me. Have heard nothing but praise

The only one I haven't played is Squad. I would rank them from top to bottom, especially based on your criteria:

1. The Long Dark
2. Abzu
3. Firewatch
4. Ori and the Blind Forest

Almost done with my Steam purchases for this Seal.

Based on your preferences I would suggest trying Firewatch out. Absolutely loved it, including the ending. Ori and the Blind Forest is also wonderful but I don't know if I would call it a short story based game.

Did anyone have trouble with Subnautica's controls? One of my roommates got the game recently and said she pretty much hated how the game felt to play.

The idea of a Metroidvania game sounds fun as well.

Think hard if those games are good enough to pull you away from CSGO. If not, just get the skins.

Everyone vote MGSV and don't even pretend like the twist in that game wasn't one of the greatest things you've seen in a game since MGS2. It was Kojima's masterpiece for this generation. Do it for the industry icon SteamGAF.

MGSV got this in the bag, the other titles in there just aren't on the same level.

So looks like you can't buy Witcher 3 Expansion Pass on GOG if you don't own Witcher 3 GOG version. BS.

Still full price on Steam.

Why you would expect them to be compatible and why them not being is bullshit? On Steam currently 23€ for HoS + B&W is steal. Amount of content and gameplay hours you get from that is worth of full priced game.

The twist of MGSV was predicted by the world years before the game released.
Discussed on plenty of threads on GAF too.

Still have a huge backlog so I think Hitman will be my only buy this sale. The only ones I'm still on the fence are Braid and Teslagrad because I don't think they'll be cheaper anytime soon so I can put them on the backlog. Any other game similar for dirty cheap?

Shame people got bad taste in gaming

Bought my two first games of the sale:

Pac Man CE 2 - Just played the tutorial levels, but those were quite fun. It's different from the first one, but for me that just makes the complement each other.

Satellite Reign - Not a good first impression. I'm playing on my laptop now, and not my stationary, but I still expect better performance then this. Lowered all that I could to the lowest, and it still runs in sub 20 FPS. And the loading times at startup didn't impress. Will refund if I can't make it run better.

Sure and it didn't change the fact that the game had 3 OTs just for the spoiler thread here on GAF. Only SW episode 7 beat it in that regard. Point is the twist has such a large effect on the entirety of the franchise that its pretty much the definition of whoaaaa dude imo. Everyone was played like a fiddle even if some guessed the twist beforehand.

Visual Novel has like 200 entries, doesn't it?

Was one of the first tags I filtered out :p

Feels like there's a million of those and every other recommendation was one. If you enjoy of them of course, Steam is like the fucking ultimate VN storefront.

1. You can convert GOG version to Steam version.
2. Expansion pass is $15 @ GOG

Well, not so big impact considering many MGS fans never played
Metal Gear 1 and 2. And honestly those games are not really plot-focused and movie-oriented like later MGS titles.
