Finally a good deal on Sunset Overdrive, will be picking that up. How's the DLC, is the digital deluxe worth the extra cost?

They're about 2-3 hours each and not at all worth the season pass I bought around launch but at that price, eh, you might as well

I dont understand why Catherine isn't on sale in Europe?!? Even on PSN it is in sale in Europe right now (2,99 Euro) and the publisher is the same...

No

Telling the truth. It's a fact that competing gaming networks offer better prices for digital content in Europe.

SEN is one of them. That also means that you can buy superior versions of games for less if you don't play on Xbox.

I don't even want to talk about Scorpio because that wasn't the point. The point is that our sale prices are absolutely ridiculous.

This has been going on for months.

I've seen this for the first time this past week the prices of multiplat games on PSN are a lot better than Xbox.

is the DLC for Killer is Dead, "Smooth Operator Pack " worth it? Its not on sale, but only $4.99..

edit:
I remember when peeps along with myself said BC on XBO was impossible, but here we are. Catherine & Killer is Dead for $7 total.

Just FYI, Killer is Dead is backwards compatible; that's not listed in the OP

Is that game any good? I haven't played a ton of Grasshopper games. I only really liked No More Heroes, and recently have been enjoying Let it Die. Didn't care for Shadows of the Damned, and remember liking Killer 7's style, but that's about it.

bought dead rising 4, xcom2 and watch dogs, all for 90 usd, with a combination of buying games on different stores (russian and singapore). dead rising was 9 usd cheaper on the singapore store.

I'm probably going to just wait to see the dailies but there are 3 completely different week 2 games for the Xbox one I have my eye on:

Diablo 3
Kings Quest Complete
Mirrors Edge Catalyst

Anyone want to weigh in on the quality of those 3 games and the quality of the Xbox One versions?

I've only played Diablo out of these three and there were no issues in my many hours of play on Xbox One.

Diablo 3 is awesome.
Mirror's edge is decent but it may be better buying a year of EA access.

hows the dark souls 2 xbox one version?

I played right up to the first boss door before Christmas holiday stuff. I don't know for sure, but I believe it runs at 60 fps. Not sure about the resolution but the image looks very clean to me. Also a decently active playerbase all things considered. Xbox is less popular than PS for the overall series, but I had plenty of summon signs and even 2 invaders in my brief time playing.

Is there a way to buy as a German user in the US X360 store? (without creating a new account)
Because in germany we still have to pay 20€ for Catherine....

At this point, I think we have to asume this has to do with Microsoft and not the publisher.

Over here (Chile) the difference between XBL and Steam/PSN is just ridiculous.

Want to buy Duck Tales from the UK store but as soon as I want to pay, the price shows up in USD, and I can't buy it, of course.

Buy king's quest with confidence. Ep 2 is a bit tricky however.

I bitched about it before but I want a serious answer - has Crimson Dragon, D4, or Super Time Force ever gone on sale?

Crimson Dragon has never been on sale. It was part of Games With Gold in August 2014.

D4 has been on sale one time, in May of this year, for $5. It was part of Games With Gold in January 2015.

Super Time Force was on sale once, in December of last year, for $5. It was part of Games With Gold in September 2014.

I missed all three. At least D4 and STF are possible, but I might just say fuck it and pay $15 for Crimson Dragon. If a launch game hasn't gone on sale once there's no way it will now.

I played through the first ep with my GF and she was laughing the whole way. She demanded I buy the rest of the game, but I said I'd wait for a sale. The first episode was incredibly charming, the voice acting was awesome, and I was laughing like every 5 minutes.

I've heard that the rest of the game isn't as impressive. Why is that? I want to get it, but I keep hearing mixed opinions, and I'm too afraid to delve into the OT for fear of spoilers. Can I get some spoiler-free feedback?

I felt similarly frustrated a while back with Shadow Warrior during last year's end of year sale (as I mentioned earlier in the thread). I had gotten it for like $10 on PC before it came out on consoles, but wanted to play through it on Xbox. It had ben out for a bit over a year and had been $30 the entire time, but had been on sale for less than $10 multiple times on both PS4 and PC. Once the sale was over and it hadn't shown up as a daily deal, I gave up and just paid the $30 for it.

It's been another year, and it still hasn't had a single sale. I was right, and it was pointless to wait for a deal on that particular game.

Me too I wish it would go on sale. It pisses me off, I have the impressions that Publishers punish us for just buying the base game. When you see the gold edition cost 5$ more than the season pass...
Co-signed. Always been a pet peeve of mine. Plus the season pass is on sale for 19.99 on Steam so why not do it everywhere.

Rare Replay or State of Decay? State of Decay seems like a really cool RPG but I've also been curious about the Viva Pinata games for years.

Depends how much you think you'll play those old Rare games. I really only got a good amount of value out of a handful of the games. Most of the rest I tried once or twice and wasn't really interested in playing them again. I would still like to go through Banjo 1+2 and Conker again at some point though, so I'm glad I own them.

State of Decay is like a single player sandbox survival game, but done better than other sandbox games. It goes a little heavy on the base management for my taste, but the constant drain on your supplies forces you to go out and scrounge more. With most survival games I've found once I have a base and supplies, there's nothing left to do. In State of Decay, those supplies drain based on the size of your base and number of survivors, and you have to go find more. Then fun or crazy stuff happens trying to get them back to base.

I really like both, but State of Decay, for me, has given me more time and more fun than all of Rare Replay added together. Though I really like horror themed stuff, especially zombies, and especially more action oriented stuff.

Agreed 100%

I always bought US giftcards from the MS store for the last 3 years. Payed with paypal. I am from the EU btw.
But now i got a error.

There was an issue processing your order, please contact customer service for assistance in completing your purchase.
Error Code:141078

They closed that also? Because that would suck.

From what I understand in this thread, being exclusively an Xbox One owner means I can't purchase 360 games, not even backwards compatible games. Is that correct?

Edit: Thanks for the clarification.

What? Of course it doesn't mean that. I purchased Witcher 2 on my computer before I even bought the Xbox One. It was then tied to my account and ready to download on Xbox One.

No. You cannot purchase 360 games using using existing accpunt balance, you have to pay the full amount from PayPal/card on XBONE.

No that's not correct. You can purchase and downlod them, only thing not possible is the option to buy those games using funda from your xbox/microsoft account. It's possible to purchase 360dlc using wallet funds, but no way to currently get 360 games using wallet funda
