Megyn Kelly, who arrived at Fox News 12 years ago as a television news neophyte but rose to become one of its two biggest stars, has decided to leave the network to take on a broad new role at NBC News for an undisclosed amount, people briefed on the negotiations said on Tuesday.

The NBC News chairman, Andrew Lack, wooed Ms. Kelly away from Fox News by offering her a triple role in which she will host her own daytime news and discussion program, anchor an in-depth Sunday night news show and take regular part in the network’s special political programming and other big-event coverage.

Either NBC is becoming more conservative (not likely, as liberal sources are going to get a huge increase in traffic under Trump). Or Kelly has had enough. She always struck me as a fake conservative anyhow, acting far more to the right than she is because she was on Fox. We shall see though.

Not that she is excused for her behavior. She acted horribly during her Fox tenure, and it'll take a lot for me not to instinctively dislike her.

Just because she had a feud with Trump doesn't make all her previous racist bullshit and dog-whistling go away. Typical opportunist.

And she's been toxic for the American public. While her treatment by the far-right and Trump have certainly been tragic, do not think for a minute she is not responsible for festering this cesspool in the first place.

Kelly might have been one of the more sane voices at Fox News, but that was only by comparison.
She is still a batshit crazy right winger.
Not exactly the type of person I would want to get my news from.

All I get from this is the rats are jumping ship now that it's too toxic for even their survival.

After hearing her walk back on Trump during an NPR interview last month (she claims she's not sure what he meant by "blood coming out of her whatever") I lost any tiny glimmer of respect I might have had for her.
