It's so you can play while on a stand since you can't do it while it's docked in the dock. But the console already has a kick stand. Adjustable stand?

So about the Share button. Would that be for recording and sharing videos online or other social media?

And do you think Nintendo could make money from people using it to post videos online?

I would think it comes down to how much time a clone takes up compared to a new character. Maybe it is something like "we can develop three new clones or one new character."

why can't they drop the price of the n3ds

it's normal to milk a platform on its last legs at whatever price point you can. Just like how the wii u hasn't really dropped much. No point.

Not saying it'll be 199, Nintendo just won't do that, but stiill. Pricing of other hardware doesn't matter. The iphone 6S was priced the same up until the iphone 7 came out.

Well it sounds like the 3DS is going to be supported throughout the year at least. If they are still selling I wouldn't drop the price.

Was watching some Zelda videos and it's really cool all the stuff you can do with the physics of the world. It made me think that it'd be a really huge shame if Nintendo does not implement achievements in their system.

Ps4 and Xbone are 249 in europe not sure about the us so i can see their concerns. They have to get it to 199,99 before holidays before sony or microsoft do that because if that happens then it's time for some doom.

It better packs in a game at that price.

$250 is not a doomed price for this product. I'm not sure why you're being so negative about it.

Eh, you can have it. Trophies/achievements never really meant much to me.

He said share 'button.' Xbox One doesn't have one. Yeah the Wii U has sharing functionality but no button on the controller. PS4 brought console game media sharing to the forefront.

I think because one of the Nvidia Shield doo-hickies is $199.99 and people like to pretend that this is nothing more than a "Shield tablet with Nintendo branding."

There will not be a Switch price drop before the holidays. $250 and they will not be able to keep the thing in stock.

$249.99 is a great price for it, but I don't think people should be expecting anything more than 32 GB. I can't think of a piece of tech outside of certain Chinese smartphones that have 64 GB of flash storage in that price range.

That's not the same. Sure, the Xbox doesn't have a dedicated button but just like the PS4 you can share anything. On Wii U you can't.
