Huh. Played one 1v1 round and it worked fine. Started a second match, got 5 seconds in, and lost control. Can't make any commands, I can only move my camera around. Neat :x
edit: Maybe because the servers went kerplunk? Just tabbed back into the game and it had disconnected me.

Played the tutorial, really enjoyed it! This is what the RTS genre needs, some new life. While I think the card thing is kind of overdone, it sorta works here. Interested in playing some more!

They're pretty cheap though, 20 energy? I like using them to jump parked Kodiaks, who can't seem to fire at that range.

My downloads on the Win10Store stall. I've been trying for the past 2 days to get FH3 to download, no luck. Same with the HW2 blitz beta, still no luck.
Gears of War 4 downloaded almost 100GB no problem, but suddenly, I can't get any other games to download.

I've tried WSRESET, anything fix that involved Powershell, etc, still nothing.

What problems are you having? Is it not downloading properly? Also are you opposed to downloading and installing it in a different manner? Because I can help you with this
Damn. I actually think something may be borked with your Windows 10 install. That's the only thing I can think of. (and no, you shouldn't have to do a clean install...you should be able to do a reset through the settings...) Hmm...That MS guy who works on the store may be able to help.

Yup, downloading it. I'm very curious, Creative Assembly is an amazing team and i'm glad they're doing this.
Yeah performance is solid. Running 4k and stable even 3v3 clusterf* fights with like 3 scarabs and MAC blasts all over the place in the same spot.
Aaaaamazing aesthetic and art in this.
Kinda hope the next Halo keeps the same art style. Quite good.

Re-install windows is worth it
Not getting an error code, but my downloads just stall at certain points. For instance, it'll get to, say, 3.64GB and then just sit there. I went to work, came back at 9 and it was still at 5.67GB yesterday. I'm mostly referring to Forza Horizon 3. I tried HW2 this afternoon and when it stalled, I never went back.
I might have to reset, but damn if that's not an extreme to go to. Playing Gears of War 4 @ 60FPS sure was sweet though ...
Does the download say "Paused" when it stops? or "Pending"?

Ok, you are just doing a reset and not a full reinstall right? One is faster than the other.
And 51GB is totally wrong. Wow. I hope when everyone does the Creator's Update that this bullshit is over.

Have been mostly in the dark regarding HW2 and "whoa" was the first thing that came to mind when I saw those images.
She used to look like a 30~35 year old Asian women but now looks like an American teenager. I can't say that I approve of this change. Wonder what's the reason why they did it outside of the annoying "artistic view".

I do believe I heard something about the reason for Carter and Anders having new 'models' are because they are made after actual people, but IDK.

Wish everyone wasn't having issues. I didn't have any on my PC's (3), but I never seem to have issues downloading from the windows store.

I think the reason was that Carter and Anders weren't made after actual people in the original. So for HW2 they decided to do that (maybe it's easier?) which resulted in changeI don't know why but it annoys me so greatly.

I agree though. Really jarring.
Ahh maybe. Carter is similar enough but Anders is a complete change from the original it's just stuck as a annoyance. Especially after recently playing the DE again.
Maybe the story's have something in the works for the transition.

No, mine was only 8 GB as well. The install size is probably 12 GB.
What I've noticed with the W10 Store and downloads is with large files it will sometimes (well, almost always) download huge blocks of data before letting you know how much is left to actually download. So you might think it is stuck at say 7 GB of 50 GB but in reality it is still downloading without constantly updating how much data you have already downloaded. If you want to see how much progress you have really made you can close the W10 Store completely, wait a minute - a reboot wouldn't hurt, then re-launch the store and check the download. Don't freak out as it will probably seem like the download has started over from the beginning but it should soon thereafter tell you that you are at like 50 MB of 30 GB remaining (meaning you have already downloaded 20 GB if it was 50 GB in total).
Pretty sure he is talking about the size of Forza Horizon 3.

Played maybe 3 matches. Didn't like the game play (it feels the action is muddled/random compared to HW1), it's uglier than HW1 relative to the power of the console/the year it was made, and I don't like the cards or this Blitz mode at all.
Extremely disappointing. If the people say the release is more like HW1 I might come back, but all this did was make me think about installing HW1 on my X1 and doing a little comp stomping.

And even if it didn't have great performance, RTS is one of the few genres where I'm ok with 30fps. It took me forever to figure out that Generals was locked at 30.Yeah not really seen anyone complain about it yet

I realize this is a free Beta so it's not indicative of the how the final popularity will be but the Beta is rocking on PC. Finding matches in under 30 seconds in 3v3. Good news
