I move to change the topic to the Great Pumpkin instead

What do you guys think? Was Linus' pumpkin patch just not sincere enough? Are the promises of the Great Pumpkin enough to shirk Trick or Treating? Has Santa stolen the Great Pumpkin's publicity by casting a wider, more lenient net in terms of who gets presents?

Great pumpkin will never be Santa and won't ever come close.

I blame the Pats and their equestrian fans

Brady and pokey must be stopped

Going after the white women will 100% of the time have this reaction. Not even white women in general for the sake of politics. The topic is now treading on "their" white women. Same rules, different field of play. Guaranteed result is the same, until all of those women that marched decide to show up for a photo op at a black, immigrant, orientation, or any other minority based rally as well.
Shit. Let them show up for the environment as a easy step. Won't happen though.

No. I'm saying that the poster is right. People are trying to show they're all for unity and understanding, but overlooking the real issues in an attempt to look above it all. I love the post

Oh okay, my fault for misunderstanding.

But yea, I really could care less about the whole purity thing. My primary concern is wondering whether or not this particular demographic will fuck over minorities again in the next election. I certainly hope not. But if they can vote for Trump, then damn, it could very well happen again unless people make serious attempts to rectify that.

I ain't mad at them for marching. I ain't mad about the way it went about peacefully. I am mad that people are now fighting over purity when they need to focus on how to get through this mess. The consortium has decintegrated. I ain't mad at the white ladies. They're going to do what they do, support their issues. Other groups are able to coalesce around an idea. "Liberals" have a problem doing this.

Note: I don't claim to be a liberal or a conservative

Of course the march went down peacefully. The police weren't kitted out in their full SWAT gear. There were no snipers. Some of the cops even put on the pussyhats.

Now. Ask yourself why the cops were being all cute at this event and not at a BLM march or at Standing Rock...

Split the difference on how many will show up again for the next rally, or meeting, or counsel session, or the dinner table with "the cause". Let's be real about who went home and put family on blast or sat people down and did what they wouldn't ever do every single day before that march.

I don't post offering on the Black Thread or even Neogaf in general offering (i lurk...sadly). But Neogaf in general is pissing me off. I see fake ass Liberal and fake ass allies.

We already know the answer.

Because they protested the right way!

Yes, I live in a doctor.

I wanted to watch One Piece, but there is like 900+ episodes, I'd never catch up.

I recently started Naruto, bout half way through season 2.

There is less than 800 episodes, thank you very much. ;D

You can read the manga though, it's pretty much superior to it for the most part.

The world is very "fuck you, got mine" when it comes to issues on equal rights.

It is, isn't it? But considering that we have ignorant ass fools defending nazis on here, I'm not even surprised at this point that the world is indeed selfish.

To Forearm Star
I really don't get why white people gotta try and make stupid ass similarities that don't even fit when they compare it to the constant struggles of black people. Getting bullied is seriously not the same as fearing for your life from cops. And also getting pulled over by cops is not the same as hoping you just get pulled over by cops and nothing else.

I tried to do it differently today. Got my most stylish wet weather out of style gear on and bounded out between rain showers. Would have made it too, if that damned bus driver didn't shine me on at the light and leave me standing with bags of groceries. And then the rain caught up to me.

Nah, watch the anime at least until Ennies Lobby, imo. I'd still keep watching until the Summit War but you need to start figuring out how to skip most filler and just deal with 15-20 mins of content. But Fishman -> current events, manga all the way.

(I say this as someone who has been reading this shit since ... fuck me, 1997 :| )

Shit this got me fired up.

It's not worth it. What you post will get twisted by a diet racist/concern troll, you'll get mad and lash out and get banned instead.

It's probably just me, but man I wouldn't last long on this forum if I spent all day trying to illuminate what minority groups have to endure to make to have a semblance of equality. Especially when you're dealing with:

1. "Intellectual" posters who are adept at hiding their views behind their typed words. They won't be explicit on how/why minority groups are in the wrong, but goddamn you sure can't throw it back at them; "...that's not what I said heh heh."

2. Milquetoast posters—Folks who have a very... neutered and romanticized view on Civil Rights/Minority struggles in general. Or think that think folks like us need to do things a "certain" way.

3. The loathsome drive-by posters. Quick to derail a thread for a joke or deplorable opinion.

I got to hand it to you all for trying your best to try to show posters about our struggles and hoping they can empathize and eventually be an ally...

For me, I gotta do it face to face. I couldn't do this over the internet. Y'all strong.

Always love seeing another fan of the series. Where are you currently at right now?
Ain't it though?! Can't wait for the new chapter.

Right? How far are you?
Just got to Cakeland and Big Mom is losing her shit. I actually was caught up through just before Punk Hazard (like 75% through Fishman Island) then I just stopped for a few years. I still have the Viz Shonen Jump magazines with the first chapters.

I tried to get into it but couldn't I had to give it give it up give it up give it up give it up

Y'all taking a big L. One Piece is straight up some of the best fiction you can read. Like, there are few series that can catch you in the feelings like OP. I mean, especially Naruto over OP? That's like saying you wanna skip Spider-Man Homecoming and The Last Jedi for the new Adam Sandler + Eddie Murphy comedy.

How's that cold going, you doing any better?

I'm at like 85-90%. I can work so there's that.

-----

I'm catching up on all my long ass shonen this year. Read all of Dragon Ball and Akame ga Kill, finishing OP. Next is D. Gray-man and Hunter X Hunter.

Yea that's what I meant by for the most part, though I should've clarified of course. Just like you, I binged the anime up until Fishman Island. From that point onwards, the pacing has become rather unbearable. So then I started to read the manga, which is completely more than acceptable, despite my preference for anime over manga, namely when the series has cool fight scenes and what not lol

Hey. Don't catch a fade arguing with dumb fucks on the internet.

Know how you solve that?

It's like reading a comic book

The sad part is, I ain't even mad. This is just the new normal that white "moderates" are gonna hit us with from now on.

Stay in your place, consider the white man's feelings above all else, if you weren't so uppity people wouldn't have voted Trump, etc...
