The end of the DK trilogy. I'm looking forward to that.
It is possible, but we don't know anything.
I hope it's not more Donkey Kong. Those games are perfect, but it's time for something new.
Some sort of Donkey Kong minigame collection, probably.
Shake the Joycon to smash barrels or whatever.
Are they though..?
Loading times were horrendous in tropical freeze, coupled by the excessive falling in holes, didn't make the game that fun to play for me at least.

Me too.not joking here
I want a new two punch that was Prime and Fusion in the same month.Considering how bad Nintendo has mismanaged Metroid so far, any sort of new traditional (re: Prime/non-Prime 3D/2D) Metroid game would arguably be a godsend for Metroid fans. It would also be neat to see them work on a new IP too.
In a world where it hasn't been 10 years since the last great Metroid game, this would be my preference. I'd love to see Retro get a shot at doing something wholly original. It would also be neat to see them work on a new IP too.
What has Retro been doing?

How much of the original team who worked on the MP series is still at Retro?

This. They've earned my complete blind trust.I would be happy with either Donkey Kong or a new Metroid Prime.
Or anything really. Those guys never disappoint.
It's been three years, but I don't think we know how much of that time they've had a game in full development. There could have been multiple pitches rejected, prototypes junked, or false starts on whatever project Nintendo ultimately greenlit. I'm hoping we learn something at E3.
Funny story, but it's been almost 3 1/2 years, since they actually finished TF in September of the year before it released.
Not that much, I believe most of them went to Armature and 343.
Actually... there was that rumor of a fallout with Tanabe. Hopefully they didn't have to discard whatever project they were working on at that time and start anew.
