What's wrong with Nino? She's a great unit and she has a really cool backstory with the Black Fang. Dorcas is just there as a joke cause of the commercial.

Roy is smash, smash is a billion times bigger than fire emblem, heroes aside.
Nino is actually a really popular character from 7 due to Jaffar and Lloyd, and the fact that she's Lugh and Raigh's mom.
Nowi being in the top 10 is totally disgusting.
I imagine 99% of the Roy votes came from people that only know him through Smash.

Nino shouldn't be a surprise, she was a great character. Well written and had some damn good supports.

Raigh was a really popular character in 6 at the time, so seeing his mom helped alot.

There are better characters that deserve being in the top 10 than Nowi. And it's becoming increasingly clear she only placed as high as she did due to vote splitting. Tiki for example, would have had 6000 votes more than Nowi if she had her SD/MYstery incarnations put together.
Nowi got troll votes as well.

It really would have changed so much. Top 5 wouldn't have changed much for either gender but everything else would have been radically different.
I would bet there were a lot of troll Nowi votes.

Marth would've been 4th if he got both counted.
The only one not effectd by split votes was Ike.
Wonder why they did this? some splits make sense, but others...guess it doesn't matter too much sense they can look at the data and make events themselves

It's not like they didn't obviously see this as a "thing." I Could be cynical and say they left it like this to try to help the newer characters especially but eh.
