How often do you wanna say that?
Fingers crossed I will always enjoy games even if they have some technical issues and fingers crossed I never need to tell everybody about the issues I have with a game. Again and again. And again. And again.
I'm entitled to my opinion, i love nintendo titles more than any other developers.
They always have such a beautiful art style that it breaks my heart to see them presented this way.
I've never said that it will effect my enjoyment , because it won't and it never has done.
But i'm still entitled to speak my opinion, and i wish that the artwork would be given the picture clarity it so clearly deserves.
If you think i sound like a broken record then i apologise.
It's mind-boggling to think how many of this game's technical shortcomings could be sidestepped if they chose an environment texture style that's as cartoony as its characters (I believe the technical term for that is "go full Wind Waker").
I mean, look at this mess. It's a highly stylized cartoon skull wrapped in what would pass for a realistic texture on the GameCube. Why would anyone do that?!
I think at times there will be instances, like the skull, where simpler colouring or more cartoon like would have been more effective but it think overall it might not be so apparent.
I'm a huge fan of the visuals found in the Wind waker but i'm all for trying something new and after playing this i'm hoping they've found a nice balance between TP,WW and skyward sword which seems to be the case based on screenshots, although i would prefer even more colour.
