CDPR goes out of their way not to show Geralt nude, like a silly Austin Powers scene, but they sure do love showing female parts. I understand completely as it's their target audience. I'd imagine Andromeda will be more equal opportunity given what we've seen in DA:I.

I actually know some people who transitioned to WRPGs from JRPGs with the games. And yeah. Bioware games show that it's certainly not just people who play Japanese games that like romance options. There's also the archive of old BSN forum with threads dedicated to characters along with it being a common request for a WRPG to have romance options.

While that is wonderful, the ratio is still a bit unbalanced compared to Bioware games. It's fine, there are different audiences.

I stopped playing W3 at about 35 hours because the game got so overwhelming. I do need to get back to it eventually.

It'd be nice if games could get over the usual American bashfulness about full frontal nudity. Doesn't really mean we need to have a bunch of soft porn scenes in these games, those tend to be just awkward as hell, but titillation and intimate scenes are great ways to create interesting character interaction. The way supposed mature games skirt away from adult relations in Western games is rather silly to me. W3 was very welcome change, but even that was a bit too focused on the awkward act, outside the few main romance scenes.
