Colin Moriarty is leaving Kinda Funny Games.

A shame. I liked his views and input into the industry. It was nice and insightful. Kinda Funny is still a little new as well.

I kind of see a bit of myself in Colin in terms of interests. I love politics too, but I love gaming more. Mostly because politics stresses me out and its nasty shit. Colin feels differently.

Good luck to him. I wish him all the best.

I might give them another try now. I wish they didn't delay their podcast for the non paying people, that was a big thing for me.

Dude should stick to videogames IMO. I don't like his politics, but he's not a bad games pundit.

I don't know how he'll succeed, libertarian views aren't exactly popular.

I think, with this, I'll be following more KF, greg and Tim are great, it was mainly Colin which I strongly disagreed with always, at the point I stopped following them because of him.

I also totally expected this after they the massive backslash he spontaneously made on twitter.

I truly believe he needs to understand how to treat social media, because this is what made him out of KF

He kept me from being able to enjoy Kinda Funny, so I think it's a good thing. Seems he mostly distracted from their work instead of enhancing it.

It's very clear that the rest of the group were getting profoundly uncomfortable, both with him and with the crowd of knuckle-draggers he was bringing to the fanbase, so this is the right move for both parties.

You'd hope that this would inspire some introspection on his part as to why it is that he needs to leave, but I'd be very surprised.

He was the one that balanced out Greg... this sucks.

Tim's knowledge stops at fanboy Nintendo... and Nick barely plays.

I liked hearing Colin and Greg talk about games together. I loved their enthusiasm and they had a chemistry that is rare. Colin started taking the deep dive into political discussion a little too often though and it was hurting the show.

I don't really like him that much, but from the stuff I saw of these guys it's clear he was the backbone of that company. Can't see them doing too well without him.

Just resubbed to the Patreon.

I wish him luck but his negativity and troll-like antics of late were a harm to the community and his friends.

KF was really the Greg and Colin show their personalities hit real well together. This will be a blow to KF.

Hmm, that's not too surprising, I thought the backlash to his tweet might provoke this. I'm not saddened since I'd grown tired of many of Colin's ways over the past year and come to dislike him... But I once enjoyed his content and used to really love the GameOverGreggy show (I fell behind on it a year ago and haven't bothered catching up). I think this is for the best.

Honestly, I've seen this coming for a bit now. Colin and Greg have a great dynamic, but he's been steadily losing interest in just talking about games for a living. Best of luck to him! I'll miss the way that PS I Love You XOXO used to run, but I'm sure I'll get used to whatever their new setup is.

yeah I saw this coming even before the international woman thing

he's just not a good fit for what Kinda Funny is about even when he's not being overly trolly and controversial

also if Tim is taking his place on PS I Love You XOXO that'd be awesome

I'm guessing he's gonna start his own Glen Beck/Rubin Report style show. Convert more gamers to the dark
right
side.

Well this is very surprising. I never followed his views on politics recently but I did enjoy the conversation with Colin was right videos.

I enjoyed his scripted Colin Was Right segments, but couldn't stand him in the other shows. Hopefully they bring in someone else who can at least match the general positive outlook that Greg and Tim offer up. If he goes full political commentary though, looks like I'm done completely with him.
