It's hard for me to understand how anyone would choose hair in such a scenario. It's value is mostly cosmetic where as teeth are absolutely essential. I don't get this.
I dunno I barely take care of my teeth and I get a checkup and cleaning every 9 months. Havent had a cavity since I was a kid.

I think someone could start flooding the thread with pics of teeth issues and medical problems and procedures to fix them and then pics of bald heads.

You hair guys are out of your goddamned minds :D

+10 hair buff please. My teeth have always been okay. Semi straight, not fake bright but pretty bright, but i would LOVE Issa (Insecure) level hair 24/7/365.

Work free teeth.

My hair is hard to handle, but teeth I think would be the better option because hair can be styled with some industrial strength stuff or hidden by a fabulous hat. Teeth is more work and more permanent.

A great smile, depending on work needed could cost well over $100,000 with implants, crowns, root canals, braces...etc. I know a few who have spent more on their teeth than their car.

What kind of collosally fucked up teeth do you and your associates have?! Getting perfect teeth, assuming they aren't cavity filled already doesn't even cost a tenth of that

Gotta be hair, you can take care of your teeth and you'll be fine. But your hair can gray/thin/fall out and there is nothing you can do.

No I just take care of my teeth so its not an issue. I do have a receding hairline tho :(

Teeth. People can die from all sorts of dental problems. And the pain just sucks in general whenever something does happen. Hair is whatever, if it ever starts fading away I'll just full on shave it off and go bald.

Hair. Got insurance, and even if I didn't? I already went through braces. At this point, I just go for a couple appointments a year. 2 cleanings, a check up, minimum. That's going to cost less than hair for me as is. No more than $200~/yr without insurance at my regular dentist. I spend more than that on hair products in a year in this house.

Teeth of course. I dont give a shit about my hair. I will shave it if it gives me too much bother.

The wife would probably hate that but its not biggie. :p

Edit This thread is blowing my mind. How are people saying hair. Teeth issues can actually make your life more painful. o_O

Hair. Surprised at all the teeth problems. I had braces growing up but that wasn't too bad and I've only had one cavity ever and I'm 28.

I see terrible teeth all the time- hair is still the obvious answer.

I think people saying teeth are misreading the OP.

the other way round
he didn't say "would you rather have great looking hair or great looking teeth"
He said you wouldn't get any teeth problem whatsoever.

won't link pics

If you're doomed to lose your teeth or have shit teeth or have teeth grow all over the wrong places you can brush and floss all you want, you're still getting nasty issues and pain and very expensive dentist bills.

Sure. Brushing and flossing is all you'll ever need to do. Yep

Teeth,

have decent hair and after you have a quite a few fillings, a root canal, a crown or two after brushing, flossing and using mouth wash frequently, you realize that having bad hair is only cosmetic and doesn't cause you physical pain.

Hair, for sure. If I could have my desired length/cut and never have to worry about getting it cut again..that would be a beautiful thing.

God what I wouldn't give for hassle-free perfect hair. I sometimes honestly wish wearing a headscarf was more acceptable for men so I could just Zadie Smith it for a day if I didn't feel like making something of my hair.

Edit:

now that I actually understood what you were asking OP.. I think hair

This is only because, to this point, I already invested a lot in my teeth, so in order for it to not go to waste, hair would be the best option

Teeth is probably more important in terms of overall health. A lot of people don't realize that unhealthy teeth can lead to a lot of other medical issues.

But as a dude with thinner hair than I'd prefer? Hair. Flawless, thick, I-can-do-whatever-style-I-want hair? For sure.

Teeth for sure. Helps that my hair is pretty good and shows no signs of thinning at 30, but health effects from bad teeth easily outweigh the aesthetic perks of nice hair.

On the one hand, I'm legit surprised that this hasn't been made into a poll yet. And on the other, I'm kind of glad it isn't, because there are only so many times you can read "Thor 2: The Dank Dark World" memes and not lose your sanity.

Correct answer is teeth btw, anyone who has ever been to the dentist and seen pricing for any real dental work will know this

Because if you're going to go bald, it's MUCH more expensive to fix (the types of hair implants/plugs celebs get cost >10k) and maintain than getting braces once and brushing your teeth twice a day like a functioning responsible adult. Unless you're the guy whose friends have somehow spent tens of thousands of dollars fixing their teeth somehow.

Mind mind is more blown by people saying teeth, but I guess most of them have perfect hair and no balding, so hair not something they think about

You're not doomed to lose your teeth/have shit teeth if you pick hair in the OP, it's just like normal. You just brush your teeth and take a break every once in a while from constantly drinking soda and you're fine.

I didn't say you're automatically getting teeth issues if you pick hair.

I said there's hundreds of medical teeth problems you could get that have absolutely nothing to do with how much you take care of your teeth and that you can't just floss away.
And most are way, way, way, way, nastier than going bald.

Care to cite some examples or non-care related teeth issues that effect your life more permanently than baldness?

Hair easily.

My hair is thick and healthy, but it's incredibly hard to style. It won't behave for shit. Plus you'd be going to a barber/stylist more than you'd be going to a dentist.

My teeth are good. Brushing, flossing, mouthwash only takes a few minutes and I can do a couple dentist visits a year.

Teeth. I have a weird thing with teeth. I guess I am petty, but I could never date a woman that had messed up teeth in any way...shit needs to be perfect.

No, you shouldn't get any of those lol. They're all much rarer than going bald and for sure less likely to pop up than a bad hair day.

I also think youre underestimating how bad going bald is. You have to be super buff and have facial hair to offset it, and even then...

You can look good and be bald.

Try looking good while having fucked up teeth.

Never had a cavity. Impacted molars, misalignment causing a slight overbite and now 0 contact on non molar teeth when chewing leaving me unable to bite through food as thin as an onion, chipped tooth during an accident, and bruxism... that I got. People underestimate the problems you can have that are completely unrelated to cleaning and basic maintenance.

You can eat solid food without work-free flawless teeth

How lazy are you people where your teeth crumble into dust if you need to put any effort in? Good hair is hard to get right and a crapshoot on if you get to keep it. Good teeth are easy af.

I responded to the thread title and not the actual post, because it made me chuckle to do so.

Then you just fix the teeth...

I don't understand this.

Then just get a hair transplant? I don't think I understand either. Are you arguing that teeth problems are less serious than losing your hair?

Teeth problems are fairly common, and fairly costly. And no, you don't need to be a fucking drug addict or have HIV for this to be the case (Jesus).

By your own admission, one can largely overcome problems of balding by simply exercising and growing a beard. And as you seem to tacitly admit, a bad smile is far worse than a bald head. They're honestly not even comparable.

Teeth easily.

I cut my own hair now anyway (went the bald look some years ago and never looked back) so I wouldnt have to worry about hair.

Yeah but are your teeth currently all jacked up? It's not an all or nothing proposition.
