They do. But gamers don't. If you think about the history of our hobby, it makes a bit more sense. That's why Gaf is an oasis!

They do. But gaming enthusiasts can be a weird sub sector of the youth that are historically very sheltered, isolated, exclusionary and resistant to change. They carry over those same shitty traits into their world views.
The mental gymnastics needed to stretch from "Why do they have to put token women in my video games?" to "I don't want other ethnicities polluting my gene pool" is probably not that crazy, especially not when we are talking about very young, naive and stupid people.

What is it with the term "under the bus", after following the Colin Moriarty drama, so much of the hate towards Kinda Funny used that exact phrasing. I know it's a common phrase but not to that extent.
Cause most of these people all come from the same community and are using language that comes from leaders in that community/highly voted posts in that community.
They rarely ever have something unique or worthwhile to say, always just regurgitating something that they've read or skimmed.

I can't remember where I heard this, but someone once said that defending a position by citing free speech is sort of the ultimate concession; you're saying that the most compelling thing you can say for your position is that it's not literally illegal to express.
