Me right now, Part 2:

Weird how just the words "pro-choice" or "hypocrite" are this emotionally damaging that they have to ban people for saying it. People on the Internet kept telling me and other ultra-liberals were the sensitive ones who needed a safe space from "controversial" ideas.

Now comes the shift to being less of a piece of shit so she can get a job at MSNBC with the other white supremacist.

Likely make some money..tends to be the way nowadays..

I dunno, the abortion faux pas... not a lot of conservatives going to want to touch that.

Free speech is all well and good but who's going to want a pro-choice conservative? At least on the conservative side.

It's almost like... people need to be sheltered from ideas they don't like! Toughen up, guys. No one protects you in the real world, right?

On another note- I know most of the BUT FREEZE PEACH! posts are joking, but it's worth saying there's a difference between a paid host and covering something like Westboro. Neither is a free speech issue, but one is "news" and the other is a contracted host, and both are choices of platforms offered by a paying service. I think that point is worth forwarding in all related situations. Almost none of the "free speech" issues in the past several years are.

I love how people are celebrating. Quite frankly, you're fools if you think this is a "victory". She is more famous now than ever and will land in a spotlight that will be even brighter and bigger for her to spew her hate.

I don't know, abortion rights are pretty hard and fast in her circle.. She might have pulled a Milo

Most people are laughing and cheering at the sheer hypocrisy from right leaning media. They falsely identify any situation where Liberals don't want to give bigotry a platform as an attack on free speech and then The Blaze bans Tami for sharing her views.

Tami is just another vessel to spew hate and she will continue to have a platform and she will be replaced on The Blaze.

A person lost her job for being more open, and we're celebrating it? I don't get it
If she was a regular news commentor loosing her job for being pro-choice I would absolutely be up in arms, but she isn't a "regular news commentor" at all. She's built up her entire career on hatred and bigotry, so I have no sympathy for her loosing her job over this.

She's a horrible person that says horrible things about people to make them feel like shit for just being how they were born. People are happy something hilariously ironic happened to her.

That doesn't mean we agree with why she was fired.

She got booted from a right wing media outlet just because she is pro choice and therefore differs in views in an area from The Blaze, the hypocrisy is astounding. People like Tomi have been screaming "snowflake" at people like Colin Kaepernick for protesting during NFL games and those people at Berkeley who didn't allow Milo to speak. She has learned a valuable lesson that free speech is not something you are guaranteed by a private organization, that saying things can indeed have negative consequences.

She lost her position for being sensible and pointing out hypocrisy of a subject. These aren't the kinds of things that enamour her to right wing media enterprises.

Honestly, Lahren is very young (24), entertaining, relatively well-spoken (even if the words she speaks are abhorrent), and attractive. She'll land on her feet rather quickly, I suspect. I say this as someone that has only agreed with her on one thing (her pro-choice stance).

Pfft, Lauren probably did this on purpose so she would get released and get a better contract on a bigger network.

The fact that she's on the receiving end of the same thought process that conservatives (including herself) have been using to screw over anyone who isn't straight and white is cause for schadenfreude.

Conservative infighting is always worth celebrating, especially when it highlights their hypocrisy. She was always going to get a better platform after leaving The Blaze anyway.

The irony is off the scales

The sad part in all this is that she'll absolutely learn the wrong lesson from this; she got fired for the first honest thing she's said in her entire career.

This honestly annoys me a bit since I feel like she'll get a job at a nicer, more prominent place. I wish her and her fucked up opinions would just disappear into irrelevancy.

I can't really feel good about this given the way it happened and Timmy will just find another avenue that will probably pay her more to spew her toxic garbage.

I shame both this and people who flipped out when Bernie dared to use the word "unqualified" in a rhetorical context. Free speech radical 4 lyfe.
