There's a character in God Eater that uses a blast gun and people from her squad go out of her way in battle because she sucks at aiming (storywise).
Her AI is literally programmed to disregard friendly fire. If you are between her and the enemy, you're going to get shot
(every other NPC is really good at avoiding friendly fire)It can get really annoying, but I really like such little quirks (and you don't have to use her anyway).

every weapon in God Eater is also a gun is that right? You dont just play with guns if you so choose to? I ask because im playing Touk with a gun and it... not what I expected I would do in this type of game but its been fun to let the posse gang up on shit while I blast them from a distance.

The thing is that the game is basically a lightgun shooter and playing with a mouse really feels like cheating.
Yep, every weapon is basically melee/ranged/shield all in one.
You choose a meele weapon (short blade, long blade, buster blade, hammer, spear, scythe), a gun (sniper, assault gun, blast gun, shotgun) and a shield type (buckler, small, tower).
You can then switch between melee and ranged on the fly. Blocking only works in melee mode though iirc.

Is there any Dishonored 2 DLC coming? It's been out, what, six months now and they've been patching it along the way but still no peep on DLC?
It'd be nice to buy a Beth game just one time instead of the base first and then the GOTY years later because the DLC is always more expensive purchased separately.

Oh I get that, but I'm not waiting a milisecond more than I absolutely have to to get my hands on this. I've waited more than enough. Bring on other versions, I'll buy'em all, the extra content was worth it for me both in FES and Golden. I think we all have at least one franchise where playing the newest release asap takes priority over anything else, for me it's SMT/Persona.
Just played an hour of Nier, I was so engrossed the whole time, the music, the flow of the action, the awesome boss fight, it's like poetry, except better.
Why would you skip a game?
You can idle any game you want no matter if it's VAC protected or not, it literally makes no difference at all. The only thing that could potentially have issues is running Idlemaster at the same time you are actively playing a game online on a VAC-secured server, and even then there is no evidence that it would result in a ban.

You can blacklist games. File > Blacklist > Enter App ID > Add > Save
That will prevent idlemaster from idling that game until you remove it from the blacklist.

What mission are you on???
Only the 6th or so, unlocked 2 characters so far. I like that some levels allow you bail out in like 30 seconds or stay if you want to kill more baddies. I'm trying to do the secondary objectives, only one where I got all 3 in one run.

Are you on the hostage mission? Because that mission had a difficulty spike that is very annoying if you have a low threshold for frustration. It took me 20 tries to get that mission accomplished. I lost one hostage and I still feel bad about it.
When not riding the garbage game truck, he usually has some good insight. TB is the one I'm more interested in hearing from in general

Not A Hero is a comedy action game that is very decisive.
I enjoy it's stupid humour and all and when you get to know what's about it, you adopt it as quickly
But there are difficulty spikes in the campaign that puts me off it because I don't want to deal with the randomness of it and all.
If someone could've just made those difficulty spikes a bit easier to tolerate, I would've beaten it.

Sushi Central and those samurai girls you can't slide on. That was kinda my breaking point on that game. I was told to use the dude with a double barrel shotgun. But nah. Call my filthy casual. But I was done on that entire game. failing a mission objective and still completing the rest of the mission is one thing. But then to throw the samurai girls who can one hit kill you. I was done. I ain't going reinstall any time soon
