I generally like anything that has it's heart in the right place. F&F always seemed like people just had a good time making the films (baring the latest one) and they revel in the ridiculous instead of pretending it's stone cold serious.
Its trash cinema, but its fun and everyone is in on the joke and want to put in an effort, which is pretty uncommon for this genre.
Expendables is essentially the opposite where it feels like the MIckey Mouse/ Bugs Bunny scene in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and you can just see the contracts that were signed for appearances.
