Beautiful, although does anyone else miss the Miller's Crossing theme music they used in the first trailer? Really emotive piece of music that fit the game's look perfectly imo.

They need to give the music in this trailer back to Dark Cloud 3 where it belongs.

I have not "looked forward to" a game like this in a long, long time... Glad to see everything is a bit more "hi-res" looking, including the kid (he was a bit too simplistic looking in the earlier trailers).

Also: I love the way birddogcat scratches his ear while he "purrs" at the end of the trailer... Reminds me of my kitty cat. :)

The way the animation and dynamic environment sounds, it seems like something that could become easily buggy. They should take as much time as possible to make sure it's polished and perfect

The art, jaw-dropping animation, atmosphere. Just incredible, still my most anticipated game of the generation.

But, end of 2011, in Japan? :(

FFUUUU-

I can't believe it won't come till Holiday 2011, and they said that's what they hoped for.

Can't wait for this anyway.

wowww... sweet baby jezus in a pool of cum......... Gorgeous

People better turn full rgb off by the way (if your screen doesn't support it). they'll miss brilliant dark parts. People with older LCD's will miss nice dark parts too...

It's like this team has some magical way of knowing exactly wich chords to strike on everyone's hearts! They're good, very, very, very good.

...and when the ending comes around they'll pull out each tender chord one by one, as painfully and as slowly as possible. :D

The was no chance of TLG releasing before the ICO collection.

their animators are gods among mere mortals...

It's a long way off, but they can take all the time they need. More power to 'em

So exxxxxxxcited.

But I don't know if it is due to ICOxSOTC HD being too pretty, TLG looks kind of the same to me.

This might very well end up being my favourite game of the generation. But that trailer was really underwhelming.

The tone was... strange. The music was way too cute. And they were far too concerned with selling the point home that this is a massive and unique animal that behaves exactly like a domesticated dog/cat. It has a relationship with the boy and everything's just so freaking adorable. Great. I get it. But I don't care as much as they want me to.

The environments looked terrific. Ico with more detail and more interaction. And I can sorta tell that the gameplay is going to be excellent. I just hope that there is absolutely no music in the game that resembles what was in the trailer. Team Ico is best at quiet and ominous.

LOL exactly my thoughts, this sounds like music from Dark Cloud. And I too missed the fantastic Miller's Crossing theme, which would fit TLG like a glove.

Didn't really like the trailer, the music especially was offputting and doesn't seem like it will match the games tones and themes whatsoever.

God damn that lighting is stunning. This has been my most anticipated PS3 game even before the PS3 even launched! I could not want this game any harder.

Few interesting notes

11:45
McWhertor: Trico is dynamically able to adjust to certain level designs, as in the past, the team had to specifically animate characters to move within rooms with lower ceilings and such.
11:47
McWhertor: One of the elements that the trailer tries to communicate, Ueda says, is that this, their first PS3 game, utilizes the scale of Trico and boy and how levels will dynamically change.
11:47
McWhertor: The more they say about that aspect, however, the more they'll give away about the game.

Back in the days of Ico and SotC, characters needed to animate in accordance with the level. The new dynamic animation system in The Last Guardian is Ueda's greatest sense of accomplishment, he says.

Also.... For those of us whom have played it.... I'd love it if Team ICO could mix up the Colossi puzzles a bit. Place the stab marker somewhere different or maybe add a new element to their bodies or an AI routine that wasn't there before. Just to give us a bit of a surprise.
