So the consensus is it's getting lots of restocks but they are quickly selling out? Hope this leads to a lot of Third Parties green lighting Switch projects.
My thoughts exactly. Nintendo said it would be up to them to entice customers to "come back" to the Nintendo brand ie: make it a popular piece of hardware the water cooler talk is all about.
It seems like they've done it. I love it. I've got BomberMan R, Zelda:BOTW and 1, 2 Switch all on cartridge. Then I have Lego City Undercover, Snipperclips, Fast RMX, Shovel Knight Treasure Trove, Metal Slug, Metal Slug 3, Snake Pass, No More Heroes and Graceful Explosion Machine all digital.
I love my indies and make sure I support quality indie titles, especially if they develop for Switch(and means a double dip for me if I already have it on PC).
E3 I think most of us(at least I am) are looking for more "solid" commitments from the bigger third party companies. We know Ubisoft is already on board(Assassin's Creed please!), Take 2 is supposedly porting Mafia 3 and LA Noir, EA has FIFA Soccer but I expect to hear or see more support/games from them. Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 1 and 2, Unravel and Mirror's Edge would be good port candidates imo(I'd love to see a Battlefield game on Switch. Perhaps a remake of the original Battlefield 1942?), Take Two/Rockstar the rumored Red Dead Redemption re-make and part 2 would be killer scores for Nintendo. And contrary to what Randy Pitchford was talking about, hope to see Take 2 release some form of Borderlands I.P. on the system(heck, the Vita version of Borderlands was great!). Or even the recent Duke Nukem 3D: World Tour would be a nice fit.
So as long as Nintendo keeps moving systems and it's a huge hit(it seems to be heading that way), you *don't* want to be the company who isn't supporting the system imo.
