So the question i am asking myself is does it make sense for a scum Dusk to pretend he has essentially a red check on Kyan at that point in the game? Literally the only reason it would make sense to me is that polter is scum with dusk and blarg and has a role so incredibly powerful they're willing to half throw the entire game to ensure he survives.
I'm not sure I believe in that universe because it seems like a terribly balanced game that way so I'm inclined to believe in Dusk as town with a possibility of being neutral.
That said I think there are enough independent reasons to continue going after Poltergust as scum today. If he turns out to be some sort of disgustingly broken win condition for the scum team I would THEN revisit the issue of Dusk's scumminess.

This is where I'm at, which displeases me as I'm agreeing with squidy.

You accused others of fluff posting D1 when you were fluff posting more than anyone else. You accused monkey of not having decisive reads when your only read was on monkey.

Now I'm seriously questioning why you baited Dusk to investigate you last night. You're an experienced player and would have to know that it's a terrible town play to preplan investigations. Was it simply reverse psychology to ensure the cop doesn't check you?

I’m not going to make excuses for D3. I fucked up.

I was really suspicious of Kyanrute’s play and of what I thought was a conspiracy of players trying to protect him from getting lynched.

I knew I would have to make a big play to get him out of the game and also to resolve my questions surrounding him. And I took advantage of the Gafia meta, and a major town weakness to do so.

Gafia has had a very poor track record for town as of late. And the main reason is too many players sitting around waiting for town PRs that never step up…

[u[SkyOdin-kun[/u] with an immunity to probably at least a quarter of the abilities in the game. Spent D1 trying to look as townie as possible, meanwhile dropping breadcrumbs left right and center that he had an ability rendering him immune to scum’s investigative roles.

Nomadic-kun spills that he’s a PR after 2 votes of pressure, then goes and gets himself modkilled.

Ultron87-kun went and got himself doused by a weaboo arsonist. At least his ability can’t be blocked after death.

Dragon-chan & Kyanrute These two have led lynchtrain, after lynchtrain on innocent townies. If I didn’t step in yesterday Poltergust-kun would be out right now and we’d be nowhere closer to finding scum.

I am no saint. I’ve made my mistakes. But I’ve brought town something that the 5 previous PRs couldn’t combined.

A red check.

Yesterday I lied about which player I checked N2. And also lied about how my role works. I got cocky thinking I could get a 2nd scum and it blew up in our faces.

Town hasn’t lost yet however. This is the metaphorical LYLO. It’s up to you guys to choose how you want to play from this point on.

i. You can make the easy choice and lynch me. After reading through my Role PM, and the breadcrumbs I’ve littered throughout the game. I guarantee you’ll easily deduce who my red check was, and you can deal with that player accordingly.

However, in doing so. You’ll be making the same mistakes that’s kept Gafia on it’s town-losing streak for the past 2.5 seasons.

OR.

ii. You can play to win. You can reread through D3 taking into account everything you know now that you didn’t know back then.

Ask yourself:

Who knew that Kyanrute was town?

Who knew why there was no townie killed N2?

Who knew that Psylocke wasn’t on the gaijin team?

Basically find the scum team yourselves. And stop sitting around like jobbers waiting for Goku. I promise to disclose the identity of my red check if I’m still alive at LYLO, as well as a full honest claim explaining how my role works.

It’s time for town to take charge of it’s own destiny. Please. Believe in yourselves and the power of friendship.

Hardly. If Kyan flipped town I wanted him to check me to confirm or deny the presence of a switcher / tailor. Also to confirm if he was the cop or not

This isn't a lynch punishing someone building a case on someone and being wrong. Either they fake claimed as a cop with a red check as a town person for their sick gambit plays. Or they did so as scum. I'm 100% okay lynching the player in both those cases.

I might have believed his claim if cabot didn't point out it was a rehash of a gambit that was already done. Why even bother hiding the actual red check result? Why not go after the actual red check on D3? Why bother with such a pointless gambit? I don't believe it, and we have no reason to believe whatever red check he claims today. We'll just end up losing an extra townie before he's lynched.

Dusk, you're going to get lynched today. Your role flip is the only way we will believe anything you say. List out all of your checks and if you're actually a cop then you'll havr caught scum and vetted some townies. Until then, you're not doing any good alive, either as town or scum.

I think we should all give our stance on Dusk and agree that we're going to lynch him and proceed with the day ignoring him. Otherwise, discussion will be completely centered around him and we'll have wasted another day not hunting scum.
