Injustice 2 |OT| Grodd's Among Us

Decided to take Captain Cold in the lab for some fun and damn did he click real fast for me. His combos are really easy and he's got all the zone and traps I look for in a character. Think he might be my new main, but we'll see how I do with him online.

So how hard is this game for a noob like me? Is the online mode working (and/or completely useless for a beginner like me?). This game looks amazing but I just can't memorize a lot of combos ...and the timing is a huge problem, too (at least it was in the last Mortal Kombat game). Is this game easier than MK?

Gotta use Regen Tokens.

It'll make the gear your level and I'm guessing the stats scale with it.

Stats and perks are completely rerolled, so things can actually get worse if levels are close and luck is bad. You have the option to keep the old version if you don't like the rerolled one, but you still lose the Token.

I don't even have the game and I'm watching this random video compilation of all the hilarious character intros. Holy shit they are amazing and it makes me want to grab a copy.

I'm not a huge DC fan but damn if this game isn't fun as hell. Maining The Flash atm.

Love the Multiverse and getting gear :) Online will be next week after I get more comfortable

Is the gold you get in Multiverse used for anything other than boxes? And when I buy boxes, how should I buy them? I'm guessing the gear is randomly generated somewhat, right?

I was just thinking, why is the ultimate edition in the UK so dear?
The game is £40, the ultimate pass is £32, yet the ultimate edition itself is £88.

You get everything with the main game and ultimate pass, right, or are the two shaders exclusive to the physical version?

Same in NZ, the ultimate is $190, but the normal game + ultimate pack comes to $184. I don't get it.

Chapter 11:
"The World's Finest"
Aw man, that feels good.

Unrelated, but The Atom could be such a fun fighting game character. I'd love to see him as DLC or in Injustice 3. And speaking of Injustice 3, I haven't beaten the game yet but since they have introduced
the bottle city of Kandor
in this, that would be great material for the next game. Think about it,
thousands of kryptonians unleashed upon Earth...

And I want a bunch of CW skins too. Give me Arrowverse: The Fighting Game.

Loving the game, even as someone who doesn't give a crap (nor could ever perform well in) the competitive scene!

Just a quick question, though. I bought the Ultimate Edition of the game. I was kinda sad when I realized that I wasn't getting Darkseid as part of the package, but then I played the Multiverse tower that lets you play as him and really didn't like his playstyle, so all is well. But what else am I missing? I'm seeing that neither the Grid nor the Jay Garrick skins are available without using crystals (which can be acquired by playing the game, though).

Is there anything else I would need to pay for since it's not included in the Ultimate edition?

I'm also interesting in this question. I have almost 200k gold and don't know if I should just be buying gold boxes or what.

You have everything currently available. You can get Grid by linking your console game to the mobile game, so you'd save some Source Crystals there.

Without any spoilers, is the story Batman-focus like Injustice 1 or more spreaded out?

It annoyed me because I dislike Batman and had to play as him in two chapters in the first game.

Its more batman focussed then the first game. Its modern DC so everyone is jobbing for batman and the idea of Human Superiority.

Do characters have unlockable costumes? Or is it just palette swaps with mods? I just started playing sorry.
There aren't really traditional alt costumes since the emphasis is on building your own costumes/armor through loot. However, a handful of characters have "Shaders" that act as full costume changes and ignore the armor cosmetics instead of being just color changes. They cost a decent amount of in-game currency though. They'll most likely add more of these special Shaders with updates, but I have no idea at what rate or frequency they will be.

I was wondering about that. So if I want Harley's jester costume, I have to unlock all the "gear" for it, piece by piece?

Pretty much.
If anything, is the kind of thing I see WB monetizing later. Like "unlock all of Harley's jester look" for $5...or $10.

Yeep. Also, am I missing something in the customization area? Is it impossible to see what gear is actually available? I can only view items I've unlocked.

I'm not sure. I've restarted and powered off my console. Tried 4 times last night and once this morning. Same thing is happening.
Have you tried disabling your internet before doing it? Will it still count if you do it without internet?

A friend was telling me of people getting server issues.
