Tekken 7 has 18,000 concurrent Steam users with "Very positive" reviews

There wasn't any story mode but you had a lot of content in Tekken 3:

Arcade Mode
Versus
Time Attack
Survival
Team Battle
Tekken Force
Tekken Ball

I don't know why you seem so angry that people like something you don't and have to take some "I'm better than these people" stance.

They also had some of the best character endings. And thats what I'm looking forward to in Tekken 7, I love how some of the character endings are drama, goofy silly, ridiculous or just plan WTF? Lol always a good time.

But that GAMEPLAY is where this darn game is SHINING! I got stuck in practice mode for like 2 hours last night, just having a blast learning a character. Gotta make time to play that story mode! Lol

Steamspy numbers are completely useless for the first 3-4 days after launch. The algorithm they use needs a couple of days to catch up.

The real figure is likely to already be over 3x that

That's my point. The figure is already large for such limited time it was tracked by Steamspy. At the end of SF V's launch month (Feb 2016) total owners were 124,436 ±8,310. So Tekken might surpass it on the first few days.

I want to get it on PC but I'm worried the online community will die out quickly. I was planning on getting it for PS4 eventually when I get bored of playing injustice. Hopefully the numbers keep up and I will buy it on PC so I can play on my arcade cabinet.

I went PC to play on my cab. Finally a game did it right and lets you reconfigure controls fully. My joystick is keyboard encoded and many game dont let you customize(im looking at you sf5 and Mk)

Anyways game playe great. Get it for the cab!

It's the best place for fighters. Any controller you want to use, free online, best graphics, best input lag, best framerates, best resolutions, and it won't die just because everyone moved to a new console and there's no b/c.

Times have changed.
He's just going to read your post as though it read:
"look at me i'm elitist of course pc is better it always has been"
dude's input in PC threads is some opposite world shit

arguably if you have time/money/hardware, PC is the best and most efficient platform period

Hopefully T7 will have the same impact as SFIV, enticing other companies to bring popular 3D fighters to the platform.

Even Samurai Spirits Sen, that already runs on Windows hardware.

I love the PC version of this game. Adore it. If you want to play competitively, I'd still say you need the console version. Unless you're in Asia, in which case get your ass down to the arcade.

Historically, sure, but the jury's still out for this release. SFV was forced on PS4 via Sony sponsorship even though input lag on PC was way better. Tournament players complained about the difference pretty hard. Game just felt worse to play. We're already seeing reports of higher input lag on PS4 than XB1 and PC is definitely already lower by virtue of turning off v-sync.

I mean there's already been Sony sponsored Tekken 7 tournaments,

Wow, I should've known that was the case. I definitely notice when I switch over to ps4 that my timing is off ever so slightly. Thought it was just me playing poorly though.

What's considered the better fighter, this or injustice 2? Injustice seems to have more content hmm

Depends what you mean by "fighter" and "content." Gameplay-wise T7 trounces it. Different modes? Injustice 2 has got a leg up on T7. It's just a matter of what you do when you playing fighting games honestly.

Better fighter is Tekken, by far, not even a contest. Injustice does have more modes and overall content though.

I've played both and for online play i prefer tekkens combat. For single player or against AI, injustice 2. Both are great games; i just think that hits in tekken feel a lot more satisfying and the music adds to it.

is there a way to look up steam users that own the game by region? debating whether to refund this game in the next 2 hours as I'm concerned whether the Asia region has much smaller player base than the PS4 version I own

Injustice Where Are thou?

See what happens when you put out a good game that performs well? PC gamers pay attention. Come on Warner Bros, get your shit together!

It seems, not so much.

It's not just that, most FG tournaments are grass root efforts, and it's really expensive to run a tournament where you need several PC stations without a real sponsor.

Also, for SFV at least, turning off v-synce create far bigger problems than the few micro seconds it chops off from input delay.

and i will be 18.001 soon..
I REALLY like the game on ps4, heck i own the collector for it, but i can manage a few online games per week... cannot justify paying for ps+ for a few tekken matches, and frankly i cannot justify having to pay a sub for just having the possibility of online matches either..
so i'll just rebuy it on steam.. and i will hope that the fgc will move to pc asap so i can stop buying my beu on ps4...
sorry sony, but you should ask money for extra services, not for base services...
