June Wrasslin' |OT| Break Out Naan And Do The Needful, It's Time For MaharaJEEEEEZUSS

So when do we get a WWE game by Telltale?
WWE is already a Telltale game, broken with a bunch of shit that doesn't matter.
Is Kris Wolf in the Mae Young Classic?
I'd be happy for her but it doesn't seem so. She's doing a ROH show next week I think.
Best pure striker:

Ambrose or Shane?

I got Shane.

It's the shit worked punches that usually hurt the most.

I want a mod for Battlegrounds that turns you into Hogan so you can always be checking behind you if someone is about to roll you up.

According to the Stardom English Twitter on Io Shirai's press conference, she's taking time off for medical exams (has she done WWE's?) and to treat neck problems. 🤔Guess that's one way to write her out... Until she shows up in NXT in a few months.

Io Shirai is yet to actually sign a WWE contract as far as I know. *edit* no current start date, rather.

It could be she is having troubles getting cleared medically with WWE. I was more worried about Kairi Hojo in that regard though.

So Mayu is now at the top of Stardom. I wonder who they will really get behind now. I could see them getting more behind Kagetsu and her new look is awesome. Yoko Bito will probably hover around the top as well but it is hard to see her stepping in to Kairi or Io's spot in a way.

Watched Okada/Omega 2 last night, I enjoyed the first one more personally. I like the story of pushing both to their limits and ending in a draw but it was padded with a lot of down time. It was ridiculous for Cody attempting to throw in the towel, Kenny isn't a bitch. I will also take Michael Cole any day over these horrendous English commentators they have, Jesus they are irritating. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I don't find Kelly or Callis anywhere near as insufferable as the typical WWE commentators, personally. Callis was god awful to start with but has found his footing, I think. Though I can certainly understand what you are saying.

I can't fucking wait for the G1. People better not fuck around and prepare for the total insomnia of ultimate death or I will be pretty upset.

This Titus O'Neil TEDx Talk.... wow.

What an unfortunate upbringing, I'm rooting for the #TitusBrand.
Woah, that starting revelation was a swerve.

Afterwards I got the urge to go back and watch some Rock abusing Kevin Kelly backstage segments.

you must embrace the full puro smark life and start listening to the japanese commentary.

Does everyone watch DG, Sendai Girls, AJPW etc through Real Hero or use some other service? I'd rather pay for it if possible but it is kinda inaccessible.

There is zero reason to use English commentary. The in ring action explains itself exceptionally well and the Japanese announcers including Liger are all hyped as fuck.

It's pro wrestling, no story needs to be explained to you that you can't figure out yourself just by watching.

I thought the Cody part was super dramatic and very well done, Kenny's stable mates were concerned for him and them rallying behind him just generated such buzz that it felt like Omega was going all the way due to the inspiration of his stable mates.

You're right about the talent telling the story in ring, after the towel throw shenanigans I did like the pop from the group when omega started beating ass again.
Njpw English commentary is pretty good.
Lmao in what way?

She would have had medicals cleared up before she signed. It's probably just WWE telling her to take her time and come over when she's ready, as they don't really need her right now if she's not going to be in the MYC. She'll probably show up sometime in the fall.

I think Corino did a better job than Callis but as I said earlier, Callis is coming into his own. Not everyone has watched puro for years and years and if they only watched newer WWE they won't even know what wrestling psychology is. I think they do a reasonable job facilitating the in ring content to be honest.

I would hope so.

Real Hero is pretty much the only way. There is a method to pay for the DG iPPVs but it's kinda...a pain in the ass.

Thats kinda what I figured. I don't follow those promotions as closely as some of you, but I'll feel less guilty either way.

Japanese internet even now feels super far behind in terms of accessibility. You can't even use symbols outside of letters and numbers for password creation for DDT. Stardom's admin is a nightmare too, or at least it was.

i don't know where I saw/read it, but supposedly Japan is not very big on streaming services and thus why things like DDT and NJPW feel so far behind US/UK options

Yah, I heard similar stuff. If I remember correctly, the NJPW World sub is actually one of the highest sub services in Japan and it is still only in the tens of thousands.

Would just be better for everyone if iPPV or subscription services were easier to access rather than resorting to other means of seeing shows.

I've posted about DDT Universe a few times today, because I am so happy, but it covers a number of promotions (even if they aren't super regular shows). It is really nice to have this variety of different promotions that offer... unique.. wrestling styles all on one service.

Japan has the what the 3rd largest economy and just got Netflix not to long ago. They are not big on streaming.

Have you watched Terrace House, Heroman? Japanese TV partnered with Netflix to try and push the service.

It will work your heart into a shoot.

Handa-san, please don't leave

Dragon Gate iPPVs can be ordered through Nico; https://secure.live.nicovideo.jp/event/dragongate it's not that hard tbh, the Nico sign-up's in English and navigating the iPPV purchase page is fine if you're OK with google translated pages. They accept debit and credit card (although some people's banks block payments to Japan unless you expressly tell them not to), but also you can use web money points that are purchasable digitally from Play Asia; http://www.play-asia.com/webmoney-2000-point-card/13/706xmv

As for other promotions, they either air on Samurai TV, GAORA or G+ - of the three only Samurai has a streaming service (a subscription channel on Nico), but unfortunately it's only open to Japanese customers. It would be amazing if they allowed non-Japanese fans to subscribe, as it's about the same price as NJPW World and carries a ton of promotions (BJW, AJPW, NOAH, Sendai, Ice Ribbon, Michipro, etc).

You should. Maybe~

Thanks, friend. I'll keep an eye on DG Nico. I still have a Nico account from years and years ago.

Good god I would pay a considerable amount for that service though.
