NeoGAF is an absolute embarrassment when it comes to that game.

That's what happens when everyone feels the need to drop their hot takes all at once and not even think logically.

Even in the Homecoming trailer threads you get page after page of people saying they don't need to see the movie because a 2 minute trailer showed them all they needed to see in a 2hr movie.

It's the same scenario with the set piece in that Spider-Man game. I really don't get the need to whine incessantly about bullshit narratives you formed YOURSELF in your own head.

lol the Catwoman gif

Never watched it though.

Looking back at the thread, I love how every Spidey thread turns into a marvelous celebration of Dafoe.

We're only a step away from Thor The Dark World

Kinda bugged that
the Avengers tower is being sold. I guess it makes sense, but I always liked it and hoped to see it in future films. It'll be odd if it's absent from Avengers 3 and 4, imo.

Rest of those spoilers sound pretty good, though! I do like how
Aunt May finds out he's Spider-Man almost immediately. I always kind of found it absurd that he'd be able to hide that fact from her for so long in the comics.

I haven't read the spoilers, but one of my early predictions was that people would come out of the movie wanting MORE Stark. As in, he's barely in it.

His presence in the marketing is just that, marketing. Marvel isn't dumb enough to have fucking SPIDER-MAN overshadowed by Iron Man in his own god damn movie.

I'm betting that
Norman Osborn bought the tower, so we'll see it in Phase 4 as the Oscorp Tower. I've been thinking for a couple years now that the next Avengers film after Thanos will probably be an adaptation of something like Dark Reign.

That would be a really cool follow-up, actually.
Dark Reign would probably be a nice change of pace from "world/universe-killing" big bads from the last three Avenger movies. Unless there is one in the Dark Reign story-line, I've yet to read it.

I'm still not really hyped for this movie, but I'm pretty confident it'll be good. I guess it's hard to get too excited after five movies and a cameo appearance. That being said, there's less of a chance of disappointment from the lofty aspirations hype can cause.

I personally couldn't believe that [spoilers]human torch
was in the movie

pretty cool

[spoilers]human torch
is logic when you know that the [spoilers]spider-mobile
is there too. Most crazy thing is that he is played by [spoilers]Chris Evans
, Feige is nuts.

Gaming side is just something else.
I take that place in very small doses and still find myself with so many questions.

I can't believe this movie was greenlit. A Catwoman movie with no relation to Batman whatsoever AND a $100m budget?!

Have you actually seen it? I went to this thing called Hecklevision, where the crowd watches a terrible movie (in this case, Catwoman) and the theater gets to text jokes to be displayed on the screen. It was fucking hilarious. It's such a bad movie.

Who wants to bet that this is also how they finally reconcile why
the Avengers Tower was never in the Netflix Marvel shows
? XD

Debating on whether or not I want to catch this in theaters.

Last MCU film I saw was Civil War, and even with Doctor Strange readily available on Netflix I can't bring myself to sit down and watch it.

I just want Avengers 3 to happen already.

Hmm... Methinks that Thor Ragnarok and Black Panther will tie most directly to the inevitable Infinity War, but if you liked Spidey in Civil War then I guess check this one out when it's out soon?

Yo, watch Dr. Strange. It's good.

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.
Gaming side is just something else.

OT is worse.

Gaming side embarasses themselves when talking about games, OT embarasses themselves in everything.

Trailers are 2 minutes.

Movies are 2 hours give or take some change.

You can get a general grasp and sometimes things are made blatant, but there's still room for so many details and potential surprises.
