Sounds good. Guess I will fire it up this weekend and give it a spin.
You're going to find so many weapons that you are going to want them to break so you can pick fresh ones.

Shit, I never liked it in English and was relieved that they didn't appear to be present in the Japanese version at all. Oh well.
It feels like they reduced the resolution/reduced the draw distance/downgraded the shadows.
The game would be stupidly easy if nothing broke.
You could literally just rush to Hyrule Castle, sneak around for 5 minutes, warp out and completely destroy the entire game with unbreakable late game weapons
Did they ever fix the weapon durabilty issues? I have yet to start this game.waiting to play it in its ultimate form.

At least make the weapons and shields repairable. The stronger the weapon the harder it's to fix it.
By the time you're at a level where you're finding all the stronger weapons, you can just find replacements from treasure chests that much easier.
Isn't this just the DLC patch?
What about the gear you get after beating every dungeon? I never found a replacement for these and they look cool *_*

There is a person in each village that will make you a new one if you lose it.

Fuck I never knew that. I need to make thatNOW.Daybreaker Shield
It doesn't break....Regarding weapon breaking, imo theshould definitely NOT break.Master sword
I mean come on....it should be like the end game reward getting that and then you have a weapon that you can depend on and not have to worry about breaking.
I guess you don't know about Octoroks...

is this patch for Wii U as well?

Wow it's 60fps now

Its power diminishes and needs a cooldown although it doesn't break, but honestly I agree with youthough I doubt many others will. The master sword should be qualitatively different from other weapons, and it would be a cool way of doing it. I would still use other weapons since it only has 30 damage normally and by the time you get it, finding better weapons is trivial. But it would have been a way to make the master sword a real "sword of legend" in a world where everything breaks down so easily.
And then every other weapon across the width and breadth of the game becomes worthless to the player, no matter how much time you spend playing after you obtain it.
Don't see the problem with that. Not like you needed a bunch of different weapons in the old Zelda games.
It is. It recovers, it's throw is a beam, and it's power changes depending on where you are/what you're fighting. You guys just aren't satisfied with those differences, but that doesn't negate them
If you squeeze the camera between a wall and Link and look closely at his face, he blinks at 6fps.pls don't joke about this. some innocent fool will think you're serious.
Can't even boot the game up on Wii U after downloading the DOC, it tells me I need to download a system update, only the system update option tells me my system is up to date. Great.
Wow it's 60fps now
New Switch owner here, do updates automatically download or do I have to manually start them? When I downloaded Zelda yesterday I had to also initialize the update myself after. Thanks!
I seriously don't get how some people think having one unbreakable weapon would somehow diminish the game.
What does having breakable weapons do aside from forcing the player to constantly switch/try new weapons?
By the time you get the Master Sword you will have tried a ton of different weapons/types.
Being able to use one weapon that didn't break isn't going to suddenly break the game.
You can't even sell weapons or anything so no exploit/money thing, the only thing is let you use the weapon and not have to constantly switch weapons, which is more of a player choice then anything game breaking.
They toned down the placebo effect and upped the confirmation bias.
Play the Wii U version, you can edit saves and put higher durability on your weapons.Did they ever fix the weapon durabilty issues? I have yet to start this game.waiting to play it in its ultimate form.
Thanks for the answer! They do download automatically. But I don't know what the interval is set to for the Switch to check if anything's new. Might be quicker to just check manually when it's a hotly anticipated update like this.

yeah that's part of the game
you gotta throw them when they're about to break, they do good damage that way
