I imagine you get a stronger sense of speed when you're actually in VR and everything has tangible solidity to it and depth.Neat. Needs more sense of speed.
I think the doodads he has on his wrists are the "hands." In the screenshot, the guy playing probably has his hands off the steering wheel. So you dont see the steering wheel or hands?
All the Namco MK arcade games are boring like that, even without VR. Tracks are just straight lines.Other than actually aiming to use items that seems pretty boring. Which I guess makes sense, going fast and having complex courses would most likely make people vomit.
Yea I suppose this is true. Do other racing VR games seem slower as well on the big screen, I wonder?I imagine you get a stronger sense of speed when you're actually in VR and everything has tangible solidity to it and depth.
I would absolutely freak out if they brought one of these to the D&B in NYC. As it stands I'll have to add this Bamco arcade to the itinerary of my Tokyo 2020 trip (assuming it's still there by then, of course). This seems like it could be a huge draw for D&B here in the states.
Every time I see Metroid VR it makes me wish I had a Vive and a gaming PC. It looks like such a fantastic experience. No need to wait on Nintendo. Nintendo games in VR are already possible now on PC.

Looks terrible. VR continues to underwhelm. Maybe in a few years I guess.
Fuck Mario Kart, that pedal bike game suddenly made me picture Panzer Dragoon in VR where you ride the dragon and look around in 360 degrees blasting enemies.
UGH!!!
Okay. Maybe you should actually try it before you knock it? A VR game not shown in VR is not going to be impressive. You know this
So you dont see the steering wheel or hands?
That would be something. Sitting atop of a flying dragon. As long as developers stop using that narrowing of the field view they often use when turning or speed increases.

There is one called VR Karts, it's not that great though.
Was it just me or was there no sense of speed?
So you dont see the steering wheel or hands?
That's not what the OP said.
You have to experience it on the headset though. It feels entirely different that way.Looks terrible. VR continues to underwhelm. Maybe in a few years I guess.

It almost feels on rails, and the item throwing looks janky as fuck
You... you don't like VR, I guess?Joke post?
This looks...meh at best. Inferior to MK8.
Wario having some serious case of noclip 0:19-0:20 btw. Game looks unpolished.
I hope this is not the future of gaming.
That Dragon Ball VR!
I agree, that experience could be amazing if done right...I want more footage of the Evangelion VR game.
