Pre ordered at E3. Will do a new game + ultra hard difficulty, and play the DLC.

Extremely excited about it.

Ballsy to release it in such a busy game release season, but if the DLC is anything like the base game, it should hopefully get the attention it will deserve.

In for Day 1, H:ZD is my GOTY with a bullet, and I don't see that changing.

Would be nice if they showed us more than 5 seconds of "new" things.

Horizon is my GOTY but at least release some interesting promotional concept art or something.

Can't wait. I'm not one to pre-order DLC but Horizon is still my game of the year after everything else I've played and that 25% discount is nice. For the inevitable Horizon 2, I hope they go this same route and skip the season pass and microtransactions and give us a chunky story expansion later in the year.

I don't know how I feel about the setting. I thought that the jungle in Horizon was easily the best looking while the winter ones were boring.

Yeah I mean that's well and good and all but they are asking for money for it now. "More Horizon" is good enough for me to get excited I guess.
I don't understand. You have until Nov 7th to potentially give them money. The discount and the avatar aren't going anywhere.

I like it this way. I'd rather go in blind, not knowing anything. I'll probably have to go on a media blackout when the previews start.

I actually hope they keep things close to their vests. I prefer to be surprised.

Ditto. I want to know nothing going in and be surprised.

Fantastic. Horizon is probably still GOTY for me so far. I very rarely buy DLC but I'll be getting this day 1. That's how good the game was.

I wonder how they will handle scaling the difficulty?
Level 50 and shield weaver outfit just makes it too easy?
Or maybe a level reset when in the new zone?

I love the fact that I would've been perfectly happy with the base game even if it would never get any DLC. I already got so much out of it and this will truly be an added adventure.

It makes me happy to see DLC and have my first thought be "yes, extra content!" as opposed to "this feels like it should've been in the game at launch". While it remains to be seen if it will deliver the goods I've got a good feeling about it.

Quick question, how hard is Ultra Hard for New Game +? Anybody that has done it how hard was it compared to the normal difficulty?

It's DLC for a beloved game. It'll do just fine.

When The Old Hunters released in mid-November, my entire life stopped until I finished it.

I feel it's time I went back to Horizon and gave it another chance.

UK download pricing isn't terribly attractive, £15.99 with a 10% PS+ discount, £14.39.

Uncharted The Lost Legacy's £24.99, with £2 Amazon Prime discount, £22.99 for a full self-contained new game on Blu-ray.

Do you think the deformable snow that's in the trailer is going to be in the game? That would really improve the snow areas. If it's in the DLC, I hope they can update the main game to include it.

Sigh. What's up with Guerrilla and bad release dates? First they launch HZD near the Switch and BOTW launch and now they're launching HZD DLC on Nov 7th at Xbox One X launch day. Bah! I'll get to it eventually since it's among the top 3 games this generation, but nov 7th is when I'll be spending my time enjoying the jump to 4K on Xbox One X.

Can't wait. I've been on the dark but one question, are they adding new machines?

Don't kill me, I tried lol

I know it might be too much to hope for (or too unrealistic...), but I hope they can add a high-level summoning-type machine in some way. Imagine fighting a tough summoner that overwhelms you with a bunch of stormbirds or rockbreakers. HNNNGG

Why? You have played the base game, its your GOTY, you know its amazing. The less you see the better at this point, you don't need to be convinced to get it anymore.

I think that speaks more for the incredible value Uncharted TLL will be rather than the rip off of HZD's DLC (which it isnt, £14.39 is fine honestly.)

They'll might do that afterwards, like they did with the main game. No point in getting too many things revealed beforehand.

Yay! Great timing for me! I work 6-7 days a week all summer but October-February is work free. I'd been saving Horizon until October so I could really dive in and devote a lot of time to it. Sounds like this is just enough time for me to finish the main game then move straight into the DLC on day one if I enjoy it. Loved The Witcher 3 so I'm sure Horizon will click for me as well =)
