Wouldn't WarCraft be a good fill for that? Most Dota characters are just WC characters with a glasses and moustache disguise over them.

The Dota character designs are pretty cool, and while I'm not interested in card games, one with Valve production values could be pretty cool.
I'm interested in how Valve's "no pay to win" philosophy would work with a card game, since they sort of seem inherently pay to win with buying more decks.

Currently playing Valdis Story which I bought during the summer sale and it's pretty disappointing after hearing so much praise. Soo many cheap shit in the game, from being trapped in spikes leading to insta-death, poor jump controls leading to me falling down a couple screens which means I have to do a long trek up again to attempt the precise platforming again, to having a screen full of enemies attack you and them throwing 'traps' that lock you in place leaving everyone to hack you to bits.
There is also a ton of backtracking trying to find a random door somewhere when I finally found the key. I'm about 60% complete according to the in-game stats, I just want it to end already so I can move on the something better. I just bought Cold Steel so looking forward to starting that soon

Silly Valve. Why have employees write card descriptions when AI can do it for them? Remember when they had an AI make Magic cards?
Shuyan Saga is pretty cool. That Avatar feeling is all here right from the beginning
The art is really nice and the story feels engaging with so many little choices sent your way.
The combat is nothing too deep but the switch between arena fight to one on one is fun. I don't know if this is a mobile port or if the game is supposed to hit mobile afterward, but the DNA is all there with tap to play and swipes.
While I regret a little bit that Evil Genome purchase, I have no regret for Shuyan Saga so far.
Now, changing subject, anyone else having a weird issue with the Steam store (no matter if through the browser or through the client) and videos? Even if I switch from a video to a screenshot, the video sound keeps playing. In the past I'd have to simply go back to the video, which would restart it, then switch to a screenshot and it would solve itself. Now that doesn't work anymore, instead the audio gets summed to the one already playing and switching videos adds more audio streams so it turns into a mess.

I do too, but only if it's played in game while you are riding motorcycles. (Like actually having control and being judged according to how you drive.)

Most of my Evil Within sessions seem to end about the same way. If it's not at the end of a chapter, it's getting instantly killed by something and finding myself restarting further back then I'd like followed by a groan and an alt+f4. The health bar is almost a frivolous feature here.

I was halfway through Episode 5 and it ate my saves.
They are still there, for some dumb (patented telltale) reason they changed the name of the save game folder so copy the contents of:
C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Telltale Games\Batman The Telltale Series
into
C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Telltale Games\Batman
and everything is fine, for me at least.
Performance is still not perfect on my new r1700/1080, it jumps during scene changes and performance rolls off during saving, to steam and the telltale cloud. They just can't get saving right.

Oh, yeah, I wasn't debating the wider pricing point, just the UK price. 50 quid isn't unheard of for a digital release, and it's actually the norm for a console game.

Stick to Firefox. The change will only be enforced for Firefox 57. And most good addons will be adapted: for instance, I know uBlock Origin and uMatrix have a beta version compatible with Firefox 57. Just leave a review on there asking for a webextension version.

This is kind of rare, isn't it? I think this is only the second or third time I've seen a game get removed from Steam before it was released, not counting when a couple of Ubisoft games were temporarily removed.
