Excited to try out Hellboy. Black Manta looks cool and Raiden is okay but he will probably sell the best out of these 3 or Hellboy.

Happy with how this roster is filling out too. It was already better than the first Injustice, but now it's on a whole other level. Glad I decided to pick up the Ultimate Edition.
I agree. Apparently it makes bank, though. Still, such a waste of character spots for fans. I was burned hard with MKX because of that.

Hellboy looks rad, not sure about Raiden or Black Manta though (I don't know much about the Aquaman lore in all honesty).

I'm really wondering if the MK characters will be top DLC sellers this time, with such other highly requested characters like Red Hood and Starfire.
Injustice 1's DLC picks for their DC characters didn't really thrill people all that much, iirc. Maybe that was partly why Scorpion did best in that DLC.
I'm hoping the MK characters sell worst out of this game, because they are completely unnecessary having countless other games. At least the movie characters in MKX had some novelty being characters never to appear in fighter before.

Not really. There's plenty of great DC characters that didn't make the cut.
Acceptable, since they're prototypes for the eventual Tekken x SF.

Lobo was highly requested by a small amount of people to the point where I know a guy that said he would buy the game the second Lobo was in it. Zatanna and Manhunter were HIGHLY requested.
How many "good" people are tekken 7 missing? Lei is the main one I know. MKX was missing about 8 or so that people wanted and DC has dozens of characters to pull from. It's upsetting.
"Good" is debatable. I would take Zafina over any guest for example. Lei as well obviously.
Akuma and Geese are major bosses from rival fighting game series/publishers, and something like that years ago could only be dreamed of. Getting Heihachi, Akuma, and Geese together in one game is pretty special. I'm OK with that.
Special superhero crossovers have always been a thing in comics, so other comic character guests seem fitting to me.
MK and DC already had a crossover game with both of these characters in it, so it feels redundant/unnecessary.
Just for the record, I thought Yoda and Vader in Soul Calibur were awful, but Link and Ezio fit OK for thematic reasons.
Well If they didn't shove Sub Zero in that as well, we would've gotten a cool guest character in hellboy, and two more regular DC characters. I'm not salty about Hellboy, I'm salty that we have two wasted spots, and essentially a third considering how nothing of a character Joker is in the game

Don't know if you're being sarcastic, but man, Raiden was my guy back in MK2. The coolest he ever was. Shame they turned him into Zordon as the series progressed.

The only people mad are Julia and Lei fans. Some are mad at the new characters taking up slots.
Okay, Lei and Zafina. Anyone else? MK was missing Fujin, Rain, Sindel, Baraka, Nightwolf (all of which in character models in story mode), Shang Tsung, Kabal, Noob Saibot. Not to mention a newcomer like Skarlet that could use some more fleshing out.
DC list is even bigger starting.
Edit: Right, Julia. People liked Jun too so maybe her.
