People who have the game are saying the netcode is pretty good so far.

But this is early days and the plebs with wifis, bad PCs and lag switches don't have the game yet.

Not only does Command Mission X have his scarf, but there will be alternate colors for the costumes.

the costume is part of "wave 2"? hmmm

Having the model and color change in the CSS is pretty cool. I was afraid they'd be static since they were still renders rather than live models like every game that isn't Tekken.

Looks like you'll be waiting a while if you miss the PO, assuming Wave 1 comes out first.

Also note that Maj. Danvers is a Wave 2 costume as well. Superior Spider-man will likely be the same.

Welp... that cdkeys news kinda makes my upcoming giveaway for a very limited audience >_>

Historically, connections get better post-release because the matchmaking can find better opponent's.

But also, people said VANILLA Marvel 3 had good netcode because early in a game's life no one has the muscle memory down to recognize delay.

So I wouldn't put any value in these claims yet.

Yeah I am not putting any value in these claims yet. One of my friends who has the copy said the online is good but then I asked who he played and he was like "another dude who is in the same city" and I was like come on man...

I got an early copy, drove to NY on Thursday to get it. Was an all day adventure but was worth it. I played a few rounds with different people yesterday and the netcode seemed solid.

I hope the online is good but I thought SFV was pretty good netcode. Granted, I play fighting games a LOT more these days. I know I played IJ2 over 300+ online matches for sure

that scarf looks photoshopped on there to me. any pics of it actually in game?

I appreciate a fellow gaf that questions everything but that Hulk in the background is also a preorder skin so I think the photo is real

For people wondering what Denuvo does to modding, the only mods in T7 right now are modelswaps and music imports. I think guys just now learned how to change CSS pics, and there's still no progress on importing models.

they changed in the previous game.
The CSS format is pretty different in these games, plus there weren't any colors for alts.

That sucks modders get the terrorist treatment. I used to make mods for Unreal back in the day when we were actually respected and considered an asset to helping generate sales.

But then along came DLCs.... I won't derail the thread with my whinning in this disregard tho

I'm still having a hard time adjusting to the game's combo structure, between the two new magic series on the ground and in the air plus with just learning bread 'n butter combos it's hard landing such combos in the heat of the match. Hit confirms are really tough to me, where in MVC3 I felt like it was almost effortless. I also turned off all the control options expect the Auto Super Jump, for some reason I'd miss the jump after a launch combo and I don't know why. I'm loving the game, but the readjustment to the new layout and structure is so foreign to me at the moment.

the auto super jump seemed funky in the demo as well. might be better to just turn it off.

and now they're trying to make mods paid DLC. We've gone full circle.

When does the preload unlock anyway?

Maybe Wave 1 is is the default costumes?

Who buys new PC games physically anymore? I haven't even had a disc drive on my PC for over 3 years now.

And I live in fucking Pakistan.

The default costumes are called "Normal."

I'm guessing the whole roster will get Wave 1 costumes at some point this year, including the Funko skins that were already teased.

Oh. That's fine?

I wish there was a way to get these without spending money ;_;

Haggar better get a suit and tie. I'd prefer that over a rehash of the Final Fight 3 costume.

I hope this costume waves thing means it's gonna be like MvC3 and SFIV and we're gonna get a equal numbers of costumes for all characters.

There's only one "wave" of battle outfits in SFV. Don't be surprised if cute girls and dudebros get all of the non-standard costumes again.

Nice! (Right-Click Save)

Screenshot of what lobby looks like and things you can apparently do
ID search, multiple simultaneous matches, training mode, spectate.

Snazzy, UI isn't half bad here.

not much to choose there :p

anyway, hope that news that you dont need to bet ultron omega for in arcade for the colors is true, if I dont have to do that boss more than once I would be happy, hate gimmick bosses.
