At 9 dollars I almost felt bad buying it since we get so much out of that pack.

Was gonna buy it since its such a good deal but then realized I'd prob never play the game once D2 is out. For those who wanna try it out, jump on this deal asap, you get a shit ton of Microtransaction points (3990) and a bunch of other good shit incl 90 day boosters which is why the price is so high originally.

Do the boosters only start when you first launch the game? Or do you activate them in game or are they already activated upon purchase?

Right, so you're getting:

1 Warframe, Hydroid Prime - Warframes are the main thing you run around in space ninja-ing stuff. Prime frames are special and only obtainable via in-game grinding of items called Relics, or paying real money via Platinum.

2 Weapons, Ballistica Prime (primary) and Nami Skyla Prime (melee) - Again, as Prime weapons, you normally have to grind or pay real money for these.

Glyphs and Accessories - Costume stuff for your profile and Warframe.

90-day Credit and Affinity Booster - 90 days of increased Credit (non-real-money currency) drops and Affinity XP (how you level up Warframes and weaponry).

3990 Platinum - The real-money currency used in-game.

Expect the frame then nah you can use cosmetics/weapons on any frame. Platinum you use in anything you want but use it wisely even if you get a lot here.

Once you get in-game you'll be hit with a prompt to add bought Steam packs to the game. Acknowledging the prompt will activate the booster.

Damn that's 4k platinum for $8. You will never run out of slots for equipment at 12 platinum for 2 slots for weapons. Or you can spend it on cosmetics and really trick out your characters appearance.

Gameplay is great with a controller. I used kb/m for some menu and inventory stuff outside of missions.
