It's crazy to me that despite skins being the only source of microtransaction income, this is all they could muster up?

Is it because some people said there were "too many" skins in the Anniversary event?

Summer Games is whatever, but Halloween is all about dressing up, how do you not give everyone a skin? How does your giant monkey character not have a Halloween skin? How does the character on your box cover not have a Halloween skin?

Its the same amount of skins and voice lines and sprays as last event. I would be surprised if any returning skins got any more or less. You’d think if theyd go from making the whole event to just updating it and adding microtransactions, theyd be able to add more than half of last year’s amount.

Especially since its their main source of income. Wouldnt more skins = more money? I don’t get it.

I also miss the recolors and they could not even give Doomfist an emote or victory pose? Yes, this one is kinda lacking.

They haven't released epic "reskins" in events since Uprising. It's like they gave up on giving event skins that aren't either super rare or super expensive.

Yes they outsource the skin work. I don't know if for every skin, but it was confirmed two or three events ago.

I do enjoy the PvE events and it's a nice change of pace but I'm not sure how I feel about them recycling events with minimal changes. There should be a new event each year whilst also making the previous ones available. I wouldn't want to work that schedule but that would be the ideal XD

Yes, because it made headlines that you wouldn't be able to get them all for free without more hours than there were in the event. So now in order to be fair there are less skins. I'll take more skins for days but there was a definite backlash against the amount of skins in an event.

After 5 boxes I only got an epic (

) so I craved and got myself 5 more boxes to get nothing but normal and rare items. Not being satisfied with that, I got 5 more, and I got Junkenstein, possessed Pharah and Vampire Symetra.


If I hadn't gotten Junkenstein I would have been extremely disappointed, so now I'm just mildly disappointed

ugh ugh ugh, HotS sucked all the fun out of the Overwatch cast.

Also the people making out like the people who complain about Zarya skins don't like Zarya are crazy, I love Zarya and that's why I think it's unfortunate she only has one noteworthy skin (Cyberian). The idea of an 80s Zarya skin sounds like so much fun, but it just looks terrible IMO. A perfect example of A+ idea, F in execution. The hair and shirt look fan made and the leopard print needs to either be toned up or toned down.

Also you know who else has pitiful skins? Winston. Dude needs another good skin stat.

I've always considered Cyberian Zarya to be the ugliest skin in the game by far. At least Goth Zarya or Banana McCree look fun in a goofy way, Cyberian Zarya is just a concerning mixture of emotionless male statue (why, why, why did they have to hide her great expressions and replace it with someone else's face?), cheap knock-off Chinese toy and colors from off-brand toothpaste. Oh, and let's not forget the cheap plastic hair with noisy blue color.

Junkenstein with 6 players all heroes on expert or legendary is so fun. Guessing most people probably won't get to enjoy it cause you need to create or join a custom a game but damn it's worth the extra hassle.

I like it more than any of her others outside of maybe the Summer Games. I don't know who is in charge of designing her costumes but I don't get how Mercy and Tracer can just kill it every time they get a new one while Zarya just gets the rejects.

Both of her HOTS skins are better than anything in Overwatch. Arctic/Siberian Front would be ok if they didn't have the mask, and her weightlifting skin is alright, but everything else either looks stupid or just feels corny.

Half my legendary drops are coins (player since release so I have a lot of items). Since they cut down severely on the duplicates, this is the way to not give too many legendary skins too fast. I'm sitting on 17k coins right now.

The thing is, Blizzard have already created several cool/sexy beefy female warriors in their various IP (the Female Barbarian in Diablo III comes to mind), and I can't see how they can mess up with the idea of making her basically an amazonian woman.

With that said, I honestly don't know what you guys want with Zarya's cosmetics. Her Totally 80's Legendary is fantastic, and it's a 1000 times better than that dumb Cyberian Legendary she got in the Anniversary event.
