Very cool! I've never thought about the possibilities of improving an old title like Sonic 3D Blast before, but I'm enjoying all of the attention to detail in these videos. I'd actually like to go through the game again with all of these improvements.

Traveller's Takes were most definitely up there with some of the best coders on the Genesis/ Mega Drive hardware.
It's kind of scary how much better one former developer with just a few weeks work is making the game. It's true that he has more years of experience and hindsight, but you don't see many former developers take a deep dive into their Genesis-era work like this.
Interesting thought. Imagine this level of hindsight brought to N64 and PS1 games. They definitely had some of the most outdated mechanics that could use tweaking.I've always wondered what professional hindsight would look like on older games.
