The modbot post makes a lot of sense.

I was hoping that by not locking this thread that any grievences or shitposting would have been provided as direct responses. Unfortunately it seems as though that won't happen and people are already mucking up the reast of the forum.

Sad.

The moderators will certainly be busy for a while.

Evilore needs to come out and admit he committed sexual harrasment. Full stop. What he did was assyalt and his comments trashing and demaining the woman to Waypoint sounded like Weinstien or Trump.

This forum can't move forward with an owner unwilling to attone for sexual assualt and trashing victims to the press.

There needs to be a change up top. The forum will not survive with a CEO acussed my multiple women of assault.

Remember this women is just the LATEST. There have been multiple.

He claims there is evidence she is so liar but never shares Proof.

There were multiple witnesses a few years back when he grabbed a woman's ass against her will.

These are the type of people GAF used to stand against. GAF can't be ran be one of them.

Totally agreed.

This is probably the worst way to go about responding to these allegations, and an even more pathetic attempt at salvaging the site. I hope a new community can be built on a different site, because any site being run by this dude is not one I want to be a part of anymore.

Off-Topic was going down hill thanks to fighting over politics, but the rest of the discussions (Film, TV, OT's for hobbies, etc.) being gone is pretty heartbreaking. Regardless, I plan to stick with GAF.

I want to talk about Video games and other nerdy stuff like Game of Thrones or Dragonball Z with other people who enjoy the same stuff. Not have these issues constantly showed in my face and told I'm a horrible person if I dont hop on the band wagon and agree. If people are coming here manly for other reasons than Gaming and nerd culture, then this place is not for them and never should of been.

No one ever liked you as an admin, Evilore - at least, no one here that I know of. Behind your back we always hated you, and of course we had to say so behind your back because even the slightest hint that someone thought you were an asshole on here would result in a ban (or, bare minimum, a thread lock). No one respects you, and even less now. This site thrived in spite of you, not because of it, and you have completely and entirely lost whatever trust you had.

If you had even the slightest sense of self-awareness, if you actually wanted what was best for this community, you would step down. But you don't. You continue, as you always have, to care only about your own self-image. I and no one else I know want anything to do with you or this site anymore.

No matter what has happened with Evilore, I don't believe it was the community at large who's at fault and I'll stick it out because I've met great people here and want to continue to meet and spend time with them. I'll definitely miss anyone and everyone who's left and I don't blame them at all for it.

I'll miss some of the greater community threads in OT for sure.

That said, I'm definitely going to be far more wary, this place feels less like the beacon in the darkness of the video game community than I thought it was.

Close off topic Tyler, but that was never the problem. It starts at the top my guy. Whatever baggage you have, whatever demons you battle, you let that shit permeate through to - what should be - a neutral discussion forum. Hope things work out for the better, and the few folk who do stay, get the forum they deserve.
