Ugghh I'm so excited to have a doggo in the party. He'll never leave my side!

I had a Tibetan Mastiff at one point. Despite the fact that the breed looks like it can rip your head off at the drop of a pin (they can be formidable beasts and have even been known to confront wolves), Waffles was my pride and joy and I'm happy that such a dog is in the game.

I'm curious to see what kind of attacks and spells Lanshi will have. Aside from sleeping, of course.

Looks like lighting is finally getting added in? Or was I just missing things before?

It was always there in some capacity, even Skullgirls had lighting, in a way.

In games its much more than "turn lights on" There are many tests that need to be done and especially you need to make the models a certain way so that they take in the lighting well and make it look good. Theres much more to lighting in a game than you noticing some god rays or a spotlight like in the screenshot :)

The thing that always stood out to me with Indivisible was individual character lighting. That made Skullgirls characters look REALLY good but it seemed like it was missing in Indivisible till that screenshot. Mike Z has been pretty proud of the lighting stuff he had going on Skullgirls characters so I'd been wondering where it went.

Looking amazing. I wonder if there will ever be an option to have the UI static to one portion of the screen, like the original demo. I realized after the Gundam Versus beta and footage of Dissidia that I have a hard time following UI that moves around, especially important ones like the turn counter orbs in this game.

Also, at first I wasn't digging the orbs, but now they look a lot more aesthetically pleasing than regular meters! Take up less screen estate too, so that's a bonus.

The enemy simultaneously disables a party member and brings an extra target to attack. Things could get dicey REAL fast with that type of enemy....I can't wait.

Man oh man each update makes me so excited. I sure as hell hope I have time to play the hell out of it when it releases.

UI is extremely time-consuming and difficult, so there won't be multiple UI options.

I think once you get used to this, you'll find it a lot better. We received a number of comments that players were spending all of their time looking at the bars in the prototype, and because of that they weren't able to appreciate the animations, it was harder to combo, etc.

Because everything is now more clearly visible and closer to the characters, it's much easier to process everything at a glance without having to look all over the screen.

I like how Qadira tosses up her shield to catch it upon recovering from grounded state. It's nice to see cool, small animations.

It's great to see more from the combat and character animations, though the delay bums me out. The blog post only speaks on potential PS4 and Xbox certification, but I'm assuming PC will be pushed as well for a simultaneous release.

Of all the things that really caught my eye with the new changes, it's the new attack indicators. I have to confess that it was pretty hard for me to track where enemies were going and still react as fast as I needed to, and this seems like it's completely cleared up the issue. Appreciate all the QoL stuff you guys are paying attention to.

Sorry, didn't mean for that to sound like feature-begging! I know it's pretty difficult. Thanks for the reassurance though, really looking forward to gitting gud

Oh yeah, btw, backed this ages ago but kinda left it out of my mind because I wanted to be fresh with the final product, but as someone who backed the $60 digital tier would I be able to choose the switch version?

Yeah, just go to your back survey and change the platform you want the digital version for.

Saw the footage on twitter of the puppy. I suppose you guys'll have extra reference material for Lanshi.

Also loving the sheer verticality of Tai Krung. I've long had an odd affection for that sort of setting.

Tai Krung looks really, really good, very nice concepts for the whole area

The Indiegogo updates are weird. I can't find a link to the actual update at all. I only see this:

Today's update showcases Naga Rider's animations and gives the latest info on the Indivisible Backer Preview!
----------------------------------
Some of you still haven’t filled out your BackerKit surveys, and you won’t be able to claim your Backer Preview code until you do!
To claim your survey, check your e-mail, or enter your e-mail address here.
If you still can’t find your survey, please contact BackerKit customer service here.
If you need help with your Indiegogo or BackerKit orders, we ask that you not leave comments on Indiegogo and instead contact us directly at indiegogo (at) labzerogames (dot) com.

(Thanks for the link, Ravidrath)

The IGG update editor is really wonky, and the previews aren't always accurate in my experience, either.

I just tried updating it, so you're going to get another e-mail - can you tell me if that one works?

I tried linking the word update and the image itself.

Woah, Naga Rider's face already.

Assumed that would have been a secret of Justice for all time. Can't wait to Voltech Finish some fools.

I just got charged by BackerIt.

...Is this normal? I'm not sure when this game is slated to come out, but there wasn't any mention of getting charged now, was there?

They had a few mentions on it, via email and Twitter. Though to be fair, the raw date was only announced about a week ago. It wasn't exactly blaring for ages.

Found this in the previous link

With the Backer Preview coming soon, we will be charging the following individuals on Friday, October 20th:

All BackerKit pre-orders
The handful of IGG backers that initially pledged less than $30 and later upgraded to a $30-or-over tier

BackerKit preorders will continue as planned until 12/31, and new orders after 10/20 will be charged every few days.

Basically, we felt in order for this to be fair, we had to charge pre-orders so they couldn't game the system in order to get free Backer Preview codes.

I didn't get charged for this yesterday. Might happen in the near future though, seeing how I fall under this category (IIRC):

Anyhow, excited to see this coming ahead. Also changed my physical LE from PC to Switch. :D

So im guessing Ravi wont be posting here anymore since it might give the the game a bad image considering the allegations of what possibly happened....which sucks cause seeing his updates always cheered us up (most of the times lol)

Not to downplay the state of events too much, but I don't see how this very internal struggle has such capital bearing on all developers announcing news and answering questions in communities they like. Of course, that's his decision to make.

Thankfully, I do have an account on Skullheart, in your case.

Honestly not really sure what I'm going to do. Things are a bit crazy trying to get his Backer Preview out, so I haven't had a lot of time to think about it.

For now I'm thinking I'm going to keep posting here, but keep an eye on ResetEra and maybe transition over there if it looks good.
