It is not about who is right or wrong it is about talking and trying eachother to understand. And then in the end even if you do not agree you try to respect the others opinion.
Its like when you have a really serious argument with a friend and then you throw shit at each other because you think you are right and you want to hurt the other one. And in this argument you speak the truth about how you feel and not sugarcoating it at all.
What people need right now is talking to eachother.

Then I can not help you accept to say that you are one of the problems this video tries to adress. Listen and talking to eachother in a very truthfully and maybe hurting way only like that you can come to an understanding of each other. Looking at era even there are some quite a few peope who agree with this message he is sending with this song.
Respecting alt righters who:
- Are all about identity politics and racism (& bigotry)
- Sexism
- Anti-LGBT
- Applaud and are inspired by genocidal zealots & their actions
Perhaps talk to them to show the error of their ways and show that a better way exists but to understand them to "meet somewhere in the middle" is out of the question.

And as to what would I do? It starts with with society as a whole to ensure that children are not taught to feel superior to others based on gender, race and sexual orientation. The more people you interact with across different races and cultures, the more you grow as a person.
I'm a firm believer in integration which is a generation removed from multiculturalism. But there's always be schisms as long as people of specific groups are demonized and discriminated against.
I wonder how many people thought the Nazi and imperial Japanese empire with their plans and ideology could coexist with the rest of the world peacefully if only the rest of the world took time to understand them.
Being intolerant towards intolerance isn't remotely close to being intolerant towards everyone who aren't part of your race, religion, accepted sexual orientation and gender roles.

But for a lot of things, especially in this case, the truth isnt somewhere in the middle.
These people are from Teenvogue. And with such people in there you can see hatred being spread. And that is what I said. Hate will lead too more hate.
Secondly: I am saying that these people have reasons to think like that. Maybe it were their parents. Maybe they had terrible experiences, maybe they feel lost and jealously. Again when the suicide rate of white men is way higher than everyone else than there has to be a reason for it. When the rate of people actually not working and who living through the day through painkillers then there has to be a reason for it.
As long people do not understand each other and why they think like that it will never change. That why people need to talk I am not saying you need to agree with them but waht we need to do is TALK....

You need to understand why to do something about it. Without understanding the reason you will never solve it. Yes you also could kill everyone or put them into camps but that is hoepfully not the way to go.
And I NEVER said you have to be friends with anyone. There is more besides friend and enemy., us vs them, for or against. And you do not need to explain why it is wrong by trying to lecture people you will only cause more distrust and them defending their views even more.
You need to talk to people on the same level not on a higher position. Again trying to understand other peoples views does not mean to agree with them.

If I meet someone who displays bigotry why do I need to discuss with them why they chose their ideals? Its fairly evident why bigots are bigots. What's to talk about? Because, and this might surprise you, not everyone shares your view on what is and isn't bigotry. Perhaps out of ignorance they do something that you would consider racist and then you talk with them and then they realize and change their behavior. Truly an insane concept.

The goal is to bring their white supremacist views to the table and have that be acceptable. Mainstream. Don't take a message of inclusion and understanding so far that you allow them to feel accepted. They aren't.
