AW4's updated accelerometer and gyro can now detect if you fall, and can prompt you to call emergency services. It will also automatically call for help if you're immobile for over a minute after a detected fall.

The new health features are pretty damn compelling. Admittedly I don't imagine I'd have much use for them...but I guess the point is is that they're just there even if I don't think I need them in the event that I do.

Hate IOS, but I will give it to apple that they have managed to get rid of most of the bezel on their phones. I have a note 8 so the 6.5 inch screen Iphone is sexsy to me. Not a fan of the notch but its an interesting trade off to have no chin and no top bezel.

Yeah I feel like there's some semantics going on with that claim.

This implementation lets you adjust bokeh after the picture was taken, vs adjust it immediately after the picture was taken (if that makes sense).

I'm not familiar with how Samsung did it (or whoever did it) but I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time I've heard about after-the-fact depth adjustments.

The iPhone Xs and Xs Max both do, the XR uses this new Haptic Touch in place of it (probably to save cost since this is the cheaper model).

It was kinda shite though. I don't know how well it works on an iPhone from personal experience, but from videos I've seen it looks pretty good. Fast and accurate enough to be usable, which wasn't my experience when trying to use the equivalent feature on Android phones 2-3 years ago.
